About Owner
Owner is the AI-native system local business owners use to succeed, starting with restaurants. We’re building the system that replaces the many tools owners use to run their business. It powers everything from the restaurant’s website, online ordering, CRM, POS, and more.
Why we're looking for you
We're hiring an innovative Head of Global Enablement to supercharge the effectiveness of our Sales, Onboarding, and Customer Success teams.
Owner is entering a new phase of growth, both in product-complexity and speed to ship as we build with AI. We need an Enablement leader to design and implement new methodologies, coaching practices, and AI-powered systems to make our go-to-market motion succeed at the pace of our product evolution. Your success will be measured on business outcomes: time-to-impact, increased customer satisfaction, reduced calls-per-customer, and continued rapid revenue growth.
We’d love for you to apply if the following are true:
You view the sales, onboarding, and customer success journey as one connected system, not disparate functions, and can design from that perspective.
You’re a builder. You’ll be shaping enablement from the ground up rather than inheriting an established playbook.
You’re an operator. You design elegant, efficient systems, not point-solutions. You get to the root cause of problems and design solutions that scale.
You have a strong action-bias and a healthy aversion to cumbersome processes and manual work. You have a track record of delivering minimum valuable products rapidly.
You enjoy being a player-coach. Everyone at Owner is in the trenches with their teams, which means you’ll build and lead trainings yourself, not just design in an ivory tower.
The impact you will have
Enablement strategy and systems:
Own enablement across the full customer journey, including onboarding and ramp, ongoing skill development, and how teams adapt to new products and workflows.
Design and roll out the most relevant sales methodology training for where the business is today, including discovery, pain quantification, and how to sell across multiple product lines as a connected system.
Build scalable, AI-enabled systems for training and content delivery.
Partner with our technical teams to define what product and positioning information enablement needs to keep training consistent as the product evolves.
Coaching and leadership development:
Train frontline sales and CS managers on core coaching and management practices.
Build systems that let managers reinforce the methodology consistently across their teams.
Measurement and impact:
Tie enablement's work to business metrics such as time to first call, ramp velocity, and call quality.
Identify what's working with top performers and build repeatable systems around it.
Org design:
Determine how enablement should be structured across the different motions it supports (inbound, outbound, launch, and success), and build and develop the team to support that structure over time.
Who you’ll work with
This role reports to our Chief Revenue Officer, but is highly cross-functional and will partner with leaders in Sales, Customer Success, Customer Support, Product, and People.
What we’re looking for
A track record of building an enablement function or methodology from the ground up, ideally at a company that scaled from early-stage through high growth.
Experience owning enablement across the full customer lifecycle, including sales, onboarding, ongoing skill development, and success/retention/expansion.
Direct experience selling or enabling in an SMB or high-velocity sales motion, and an understanding of how that differs from enterprise, procurement-driven selling.
A framework or methodology you've built or trained teams on at a previous company, with evidence it drove measurable improvements in seller performance.
Comfort using AI tools to build scalable enablement systems.
A pragmatic, business-first approach to enablement, driven by what the business needs rather than playbooks applied unchanged from your last company.
Experience training and coaching frontline managers on management fundamentals, not just individual contributors.
A builder's mindset and willingness to be hands-on.
Pay and benefits
The estimated starting base salary range for this role is $270,000 - $350,000 depending on level and experience, plus a generous pre-IPO equity package.
Other benefits include comprehensive health coverage, remote-first workplace, unlimited PTO - plus extra fun perks!
