Full Stack Developer (Independent Contractor)

At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote, so you'll be able to work from home.

The client is a sustainable building company based on the Central Coast, NSW, focused on transforming the construction industry through environmentally responsible practices. They design and build homes prioritizing health, energy efficiency, and long-term sustainability.

The Role

Our Australian client needs a Full Stack Developer to build and maintain the tools that run their day-to-day operations, including job tracking, quoting, scheduling, and reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web apps for internal use and clients
• Work on both front-end and back-end features
• Connect systems via APIs
• Manage and optimize SQL databases
• Fix bugs and improve existing code
• Collaborate closely with the Australian team on requirements

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of full stack development experience
• Solid front-end skills (React, Vue, or Angular)
• Solid back-end skills (Node.js, PHP, Python, or .NET)
• Comfortable with SQL databases
• Familiar with Git
• Able to work independently across time zones

Nice to have:

• Experience with construction or trades software (e.g., Procore, SimPRO, Buildertrend)
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
