About Eyebot: Eyebot is an outcome-focused technology company dedicated to making vision care accessible to everyone. Headquartered in Boston’s Charlestown neighborhood, Eyebot’s vision test kiosk is reshaping how vision care is delivered.

If you are passionate about solving big problems and building the future of vision care, Eyebot invites you to apply.

About the Role

Eyebot is seeking Field Support Specialists to serve as a local presence for their kiosk network across Missouri. In this role, you will:

  • Visit retail locations on a regular cadence to check in with store staff, assess kiosk performance, and provide hands-on training.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for maintaining strong relationships with retail partners and driving kiosk utilization.

This is a 1099 independent contractor engagement. Three regional territories are available, each covering six to seven store locations in Missouri, including Columbia, Rolla, Houston, Marshfield, and Springfield. Reliable transportation is required due to regional drive times.

Schedule and Expected Coverage

You will visit each assigned store location approximately once per month, plus a brief weekly phone check-in with most locations. Expect roughly 12.5 to 15 hours of work per week, including store visits, drive time, phone check-ins, and travel planning.

Occasionally, you may be asked to attend wellness events at assigned stores. These events are scheduled as needed and will include advance notice.

Training and Onboarding: Your first few weeks will include onsite training at Eyebot's Boston headquarters, followed by ride-alongs with current Field Support team members before you begin independent store visits.

What You’ll Do:

  • Visit assigned retail locations once per month to check on kiosk operations and staff engagement.
  • Maintain weekly phone check-ins with most assigned locations to stay updated on store conditions.
  • Build strong relationships with store associates and managers, serving as a trusted Eyebot representative.
  • Gauge store staff sentiment toward the Eyebot kiosk and provide actionable insights to the Eyebot team.
  • Conduct in-person training sessions for store associates on kiosk usage and customer recommendations.
  • Reinforce best practices for kiosk placement, presentation, and daily upkeep.
  • Attend store-scheduled wellness events as needed.
  • Identify and escalate operational, technical, or relational issues promptly.
  • Submit a brief field report following each visit to document observations, training, and open items.

What We’re Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in retail, field sales, brand ambassador, or customer-facing roles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly with store staff.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills to relay field observations.
  • Reliable access to transportation within Missouri.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with consumer technology products, health and wellness brands, or optical/vision care.
  • Background in field operations, territory management, or retail training.
  • Comfort with basic technology and troubleshooting.

Who You Are:

  • Self-motivated and capable of working without close supervision.
  • Excellent at reading people and adapting communication styles.
  • Proactive in identifying issues and recognizing what works well.
  • Organized, reliable, and committed to meeting responsibilities.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive contractor rate of $30-40 per hour, commensurate with experience.
  • Flexible scheduling within the required visit cadence.
  • Clear onboarding and training provided by Eyebot.
  • The opportunity to contribute to improving access to vision care for everyday people.
