About the Role
Twice a year, Tremendous brings together their 175-person remote team for offsites in incredible destinations like Mexico City, Lisbon, MedellĂn, Vail, and Santa Barbara. Their next offsite will be in Seville, Spain, in March 2027. The company invests heavily in these trips, ensuring top-tier hotels, meals, activities, and surprises.
They are seeking an Event Planning Manager to oversee these experiences from start to finish, requiring creativity, operational skill, and strong communication. Responsibilities include:
- Own the creative vision, planning, and execution of two annual company-wide offsites for 175 people.
- Research destinations, hotels, restaurants, activities, and entertainment.
- Develop a schedule balancing team connection with company programming.
- Ensure every detail of the attendee experience is meticulously managed, from announcements to travel guidance, daily activities, and post-trip follow-ups.
- Manage complex logistics, including accommodations, transportation, vendors, meals, accessibility, contingency planning, and onsite execution.
- Oversee a substantial event budget, ensuring spending enhances the experience meaningfully.
- Build excitement pre-event and serve as the primary point of contact, sharing updates and addressing questions.
- Gather feedback post-event to continuously improve future experiences.
- Plan and run smaller team offsites, including GTM offsites, an annual engineering offsite, and occasional gatherings.
- Assist with other company events and special projects, such as marketing event logistics.

- 2+ years in internal event planning or a similar role requiring substantial planning.

- Exceptional attention to detail.
