Estimating & Design Lead — US Commercial Landscaping (Remote)

This role focuses on estimating and design support for a growing commercial landscaping company. You’ll work remotely but coordinate closely with onsite sales, estimators, and field leadership during core U.S. business hours.

Estimating

• Review site plans, specs, and photos to scope landscaping and maintenance work accurately
• Build cost estimates for materials, plants, labor, equipment, and timelines
• Deliver proposals within 72 hours of quote requests—speed is critical
• Track every estimate from request to delivery in the CRM

Design Support

• Apply landscape/design expertise to proposals, including plant selection, layout logic, and property-specific needs
• Identify gaps or inconsistencies in scopes that may lead to client questions
• Proactively estimate high-fit properties before they request quotes

Coordination

• Collaborate with sales, estimators, and field teams to ensure seamless workflows
• Prepare for site visits with research, past scopes, photos, and notes
• Prevent delays by ensuring no quote request falls through the cracks

This is not a prospecting role—our BD team handles cold outreach. Instead, you’ll leverage your hands-on landscaping, horticulture, or landscape architecture experience to create defensible, accurate estimates that win contracts.
