Woolpert is hiring an ERP Data Analyst to join our dynamic Corporate Applications team. This position reports to the Senior Director, Corporate Applications, and supports ERP initiatives for a multi-year, large, global Microsoft Dynamics ERP integration strategy. This role is critical to integrating newly acquired companies into our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and Customer Engagement (CE) ERP systems by ensuring a successful transition to the new Dynamics ERP system. Primary responsibilities include configuring the foundational structure of the ERP to support expansion.
What You Will Do:
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by aligning ERP capabilities with strategic objectives.
- Configure (and customize) D365 F&O and CE modules, including the creation and configuration of legal entities, adhering to best practices and acquisition company specifications.
- Collaborate with legal, financial, and operational stakeholders to define business requirements for the new entity, including its legal structure, regulatory compliance needs, and intercompany relationships.
- Design, implement, and manage test strategies for Dynamics 365 F&O and CE, with a focus on test automation. You will build frameworks for automated regression, end-to-end, and integration testing.
- Perform quality assurance on key deliverables (including test plans), and ensure the project stays on track.
- Lead functional testing efforts, ensuring the quality and functionality of the implemented solution, and managing the deployment process.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system changes and ensure they meet specified requirements and do not negatively impact other areas of the system.
- Collaborate with internal data migration teams to ensure appropriate technical and business testing of data conversion and data loads.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that resolve issues and close process gaps.
- Drive business process automation and efficiency by leveraging ERP technologies and new features.
- Investigate and resolve system errors, data inconsistencies, and user-reported problems. Must be willing to deep dive into system issues while deploying a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving. Tenacity, perseverance, and creativity are needed to keep exploring different solutions, even when the first attempts don’t succeed.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Business Management, Accounting, Finance, or related field. Equivalent combination of education and related work experience is acceptable.
- 7+ years of ERP experience supporting multiple modules, with at least 5+ years in Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 F&O.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with test automation tools such as RSAT (Regression Suite Automation Tool), Leapwork, Selenium, or other test automation frameworks is required.
- Proven expertise in supporting finance modules within ERP systems.
- Deep knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Project Management & Accounting modules.
- Accounting or financial sector experience also a plus.
- Background in project-based accounting solutions is preferred but not required.
- Strong analytic curiosity and innovative problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrable ability to work both independently and in a dynamic, multi-functional team structure.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and completeness.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
- Experience working with HSO AEC360, SKSoft Treasury Automation Suite (TAS), and Docentric ISV products are preferred but not required.
