The Role
Our Employer of Record (EOR) partner network spans 160+ countries, and every client experience depends on those partners delivering. We're hiring an EOR Partnerships Specialist to own partner performance and quality, reporting to our Global Payroll Manager.
You'll ensure partners meet their service-level agreements (SLAs), resolve issues efficiently, and deliver a consistently high-quality experience for clients and their employees. You'll collaborate closely with Payroll, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Employee Experience, Customer Success, and Vendor Sourcing.
This is a hands-on account management role with a clear growth trajectory. As the function scales, you'll help build—and eventually lead—a dedicated partnership management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of EOR partners, serving as the primary point of contact across multiple regions. Build strong working relationships and conduct regular performance reviews, such as Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Hold partners accountable for their SLAs, defining, tracking, and reporting on partner KPIs and adherence. Identify underperformance early and implement improvement plans. When necessary, recommend replacing a partner in collaboration with Vendor Sourcing.
- Manage escalations end-to-end, from logging issues to identifying root causes and resolving them, ensuring clients and employees aren’t left waiting.
- Oversee partner contracts, pricing terms, and SLAs, ensuring they are well-documented and up-to-date. Support renewals and pricing renegotiations using benchmarks and performance data.
- Build the partnership management function by creating playbooks, trackers, and reporting systems. Establish a smooth handoff process from Vendor Sourcing for newly onboarded partners.
- Share expertise by contributing to country guides, partner FAQs, and process documentation relied upon by the wider team.
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
- 4–6 years of experience in vendor or partner management, account management, or operations, ideally within EOR, global payroll, or HR services.
- A deep understanding of how EOR models and in-country partners operate.
- A proven track record of managing external partners against SLAs and driving measurable performance improvements.
- Strong spreadsheet and reporting skills, along with experience using project management tools.
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple partners and countries simultaneously in a remote setup.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to hold partners accountable while maintaining strong relationships.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in a startup or high-growth environment, particularly within the EOR space.
- Experience leading or building a small team.
You'll Thrive in This Role If:
- You’re comfortable having direct conversations with partners who miss their SLAs.
- You enjoy transforming chaotic, manual processes into scalable structures.
- You aspire to grow from an individual contributor to leading a team.
- You genuinely care about the employees impacted by every partner issue.
