Harbor is seeking a Contracts Specialist to join our growing consulting delivery team in the Philippines. By providing strategic, technology, and operational services to clients in the legal, professional, and financial services industries. Our Vendor Management Office is a highly talented group of legal professionals who offer a unique blend of consulting and legal experience across several industries and disciplines.

The Business Operation Solutions (BOS) group assists clients in procuring goods and services, reducing costs across a variety of areas, optimizing business processes, and improving stakeholder value.

This is a matrix role that primarily reports to a Business Unit Client Lead, with day-to-day work assignments managed at the client level. The role is also supported by the broader Contracts Team, which provides legal oversight, coverage, and training.

As part of Harbor’s BOS team, you will work closely with project team members and client personnel supporting the procurement lifecycle (intake to execution) and serves as the liaison between the requestor, legal, vendor, and the procurement team. The Contracts Coordinator is the first point of contact for all procurement requests. This position requires attention to detail with the ability to remain organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with competing priorities and deadlines.

This is a hybrid role based out of Harbor’s Makati City office, requiring a combination of in-office and remote work. Due to the global nature of the role, candidates must be willing to work US Central Time (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT) hours on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tracks procurement lifecycle (intake to execution) and maintains accurate records and documents.
  • Assess the intake information received, triage the requests through the procurement triage system and assign matters to the appropriate resource.
  • Support contract redlining by comparing contract version and incorporating stakeholder feedback into the applicable document.
  • Where applicable, apply playbook standards to review, redline, and edit commercial contract language.
  • Highlight contractual options and existing strategies to resolve negotiation roadblocks under US legal frameworks.
  • Liaise with client in-house counsel, stakeholders, vendors, and procurement throughout the process.
  • Facilitate negotiations and act as liaison across stakeholders.
  • Communicate contractual risks highlighted in the documents.
  • Manage pipeline of requests, including contract reviews, and assist with providing proactive stakeholder updates or reporting.
  • Attend meetings and report on progress and status of requests.
  • Support internal reporting and meeting deck creation.
  • Facilitate procurement transactions to ensure all agreements are executed according to firm policy and required documentation is properly obtained and stored.
  • Support vendor governance and risk management.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution is required.
  • 4+ years of contract coordination and review experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proactive, detail-oriented, and client-focused.
  • Experience processing all contract types, including NDAs, SOWs, MSAs, SaaS, data privacy, and licensing agreements.
  • Experience redlining contracts either independently or with limited supervision.

Additional Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) from a recognized institution is preferred.
  • Strong contract review, negotiation, legal analysis, and risk assessment skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Experience supporting US clients preferred.
