Nava PBC
View Company ProfileNava PBC is a pioneering civic tech consultancy and Public Benefit Corporation (PBC) fiercely dedicated to radically improving how the government serves its people. Founded in 2015 by the elite team of engineers and designers who famously rescued HealthCare.gov from its disastrous launch, the company is headquartered in Washington, D.C. Under the hood, Nava fundamentally transforms massive, deeply fragile legacy government IT infrastructures into modern, resilient, and highly scalable digital services. They partner actively with federal, state, and local agencies to architect high-stakes, life-changing systems covering Medicare, unemployment benefits, and veteran services. Their primary target audience spans progressive government agencies and public sector leaders who urgently need to bridge the massive gap between archaic bureaucratic workflows and modern, agile software development. What sets Nava apart in the multi-billion dollar GovTech contracting landscape is its uncompromising, mission-driven ethos—operating strictly as a public benefit corporation, they prioritize long-term social impact, equity, and extreme accessibility over purely extractive profit margins, proving that public sector technology can actually be fast, reliable, and deeply empathetic.
