View Company ProfileCentivo (operating at centivo.com) is an innovative digital health plan administrator engineered to rebuild self-funded employer healthcare through a primary care-centered, accountable care model. Founded in 2017 by Ashok Subramanian, Alan Cohen, and Tahasin Alam and headquartered in Buffalo, New York, Centivo functions as a cost-effective alternative to legacy third-party administrators (TPAs) and traditional commercial insurance carriers. Addressing the spiraling healthcare costs that burden self-insured mid-market and enterprise employers, Centivo aligns incentives around high-value primary care doctors, accountable care organizations (ACOs), and transparent unit pricing. Under the hood, its health plan platform provides complete administrative functionality—including dynamic benefit design, automated claims processing, stop-loss protection integration, concierge member navigation, and real-time care coordination. What sets Centivo apart is its ability to eliminate deductibles for primary care visits, lower employee out-of-pocket expenses to less than a third of national averages, and consistently slash total cost of care by 15% to 30% for employers ranging from 50-person businesses to Fortune 500 enterprises.
