As Business Development Manager for US Food & Drink, you'll own the full new business sales cycle for a portfolio of enterprise food & drink brands, building a pipeline from first outreach through to signed partnership. You'll bring category knowledge and use it to open doors with the marketing, loyalty, and partnerships teams at some of the biggest names in American food & drink.
You'll be working with our SDR's, Account Managers, and Customer Success teams to onboard big-name brands.
Responsibilities include:
- Own the full new business sales cycle across US food & drink — prospecting, qualification, discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, and close
- Build and manage a pipeline of enterprise B2C food & drink brand partners, including delivery platforms, QSR and restaurant chains, beverage brands, and grocery/retail food
- Run outbound prospecting via Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking forums relevant to food, delivery, and hospitality
- Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene — activity logging, forecasting, and pipeline management
- Feed market intelligence back to Sales leadership, Marketing, and Product
- Partner with Marketing on content and outbound campaigns tailored to the food & drink sector
Requirements
We’d really like to hear from you if you have:
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, bringing on board mid-enterprise level brands
- Full sales cycle experience — including closing
- Strong experience with forecasting accurately and exemplary CRM hygiene (Salesforce)
- MEDDIC/MEDPIC experience
- Proven experience of hitting and exceeding targets
- Experience in selling from a multi-faceted approach, with longer-term sales cycles that generate continuous revenue
- Experience closing food and drink sectors (not absolutely necessary)
