Are you a passionate problem-solver with a knack for deciphering financial and commercial data to uncover real business impact? Driven by the desire to shape growth strategies through actionable insights? If so, we invite you to join us as a Business Analyst.

At Paddle, we are building an analytical culture that empowers every team member to harness data for smarter decision-making. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving customer profitability, improving gross margins, and optimizing our cost structures. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will turn complex financial data into insights that directly influence revenue growth, pricing strategies, and operational efficiency.

What you'll do:

  • Revenue & Pricing Analysis: Evaluate pricing initiatives and commercial strategies, modeling scenarios to help optimize revenue generation and measure business impact.

  • Profitability & Cost Optimization: Analyze key drivers of customer profitability, margins, and cost of sales to highlight opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction, and growth.

  • Core Data Analytics: Perform in-depth analytical work to uncover trends, translating complex datasets into clear, practical recommendations—not just buzzwords.

  • Data Alignment & Infrastructure: Partner with Data Engineering and analytics teams to define requirements and ensure efficient data models are built for commercial and financial reporting.

  • Dashboards & Reporting: Build, maintain, and enhance BI dashboards and visualisations to ensure critical metrics remain visible, accurate, and actionable across teams.

  • Cross-Functional Execution: Work alongside stakeholders across Finance, Product, Go-To-Market, and Operations to translate analytical insights into action and track their long-term impact.

  • Analytics Culture & Process: Advocate for data-informed decision-making across the business, helping refine analytical processes and improving data accuracy over time.

We'd love to hear from you if you are:

  • An Analytical Professional: Proven track record in Data or Business Analysis, ideally within a tech or SaaS environment. Experience in finance, pricing, margin analysis, or payments is a plus.

  • Technically Proficient: Skilled in SQL, Google Sheets, and BI/visualisation platforms (e.g., Omni, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI).

  • A Creative Problem-Solver: Possess an inventive, resourceful approach to tackling ambiguous data challenges, embracing tough problems head-on rather than backing down.

  • A Critical Thinker: Able to break down complex commercial models and translate detailed data into clear, high-impact recommendations.

  • An Effective Communicator: Skilled at presenting insights clearly to stakeholders across functions and building strong collaborative relationships.

  • Detail-Oriented & Resilient: Thorough with data accuracy, precise in your calculations, and excited about navigating a dynamic environment with complex challenges.

We encourage you to apply even if you don’t match every part of the job ad, especially if you’re part of an underrepresented group.

Please let us know if there’s anything we can do to better support you through the application process and in the workplace. We will do everything we can to support any accommodations needed. Paddle is the premier, enterprise-grade Merchant of Record (MoR) and global digital billing orchestration powerhouse engineered to operate as the definitive, unified payments, tax, and compliance infrastructure layer for B2B and B2C SaaS corporations. The company eliminates the compounding systemic friction of scaling international software sales—which typically forces engineering teams to build fragile, multi-vendor billing stacks compromised by fragmented payment gateways, localized sales tax (VAT/GST) liabilities, multi-currency pricing compliance, and disconnected subscription management logic—by deploying a comprehensive, full-stack revenue delivery platform. Moving far beyond rigid, isolated payment gateways or simple API-wrapper billing paradigms, Paddle acts as the legal merchant of record, dynamically assuming full liability for international sales tax calculation, global financial compliance reporting, fraud prevention, and chargeback management with elite, scalable, and audit-ready precision. Under the hood, their sophisticated proprietary operational engine—bolstered by automated banking infrastructure rails, real-time localized checkout telemetry, and deep domain expertise across global jurisdictions—natively manages high-velocity cross-border transaction clearings, persistent subscription retention workflows, and centralized revenue analytics. What sets Paddle apart is its uncompromising dedication to frictionless operational abstraction; by bridging the gap between performance-intensive global regulatory demands and accessible, high-velocity developer APIs, the firm empowers modern software companies to radically accelerate their global market expansion velocity, eliminate systemic financial engineering bottlenecks, and build an unassailable foundation for continuous commercial growth in the modern, AI-transformed macroeconomic landscape.
