Billing Specialist (Remote) - U.S.-Based Law Firms

We’re seeking experienced Billing Specialists with expertise in Collections and QuickBooks Online to join our team. We offer flexible work options to fit your schedule. If you’re detail-oriented, thrive in customer-facing roles, and excel at managing billing operations, we’d love to hear from you!

📌 What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage and file U.S. tax forms (e.g., federal and state returns, 1099s, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with U.S. tax laws and regulations.
• Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online or similar) for bookkeeping and reporting.
• Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Communicate with clients or internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Requirements

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as an Accountant working with U.S.-based companies.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
• Experience preparing and filing U.S. tax returns and reports.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication skills in English (C1 level or higher) and Spanish (written and spoken).
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable laptop (2017 or newer) and stable internet connection.
• Reside permanently in Latin America.
