Appointment Setter (Remote, South Africa)
Job Description
Key Skills Required
Master these to land this role
Want to know if you're a match for this job?
Every closed deal starts with one thing: a meeting that actually happened. You make those meetings happen.
Your mission is simple to describe and satisfying to master: turn lists of prospects into confirmed, qualified appointments for the sales team. Long-term role, UK business hours, uncapped respect for people who deliver.
Key Responsibilities
- Call warm and cold prospect lists to introduce the client's offer
- Qualify prospects against clear criteria before booking
- Book confirmed appointments directly into the sales team's calendars
- Send professional confirmation and reminder messages to reduce no-shows
- Log every call, outcome and follow-up accurately in the CRM
- Test and refine openers and scripts with the team
- Hit daily activity targets and weekly booking goals
What You Will Be Doing Day-to-Day
Your day is structured around call blocks: focused sessions on the dialler with breaks to log outcomes and line up the next list. Between blocks you will confirm upcoming appointments, chase reschedules, and keep the CRM spotless so the sales team always knows what is coming.
You will review your numbers daily - dials, conversations, bookings - and work with the team to sharpen what you say and when you say it. Every week you will know exactly what you delivered, and so will the client.
This suits a South African professional with energy, rhythm and a thick skin - someone who sounds like a human, not a script, and who quietly loves the scoreboard. Experience helps, but consistency wins.
Requirements
- 1+ years' experience in appointment setting, telesales or outbound calling
- Clear, confident spoken English with a warm professional phone manner
- Proven reliability: stable fibre internet, backup power for load shedding, and a quiet home office
- Comfortable with tech tools: CRMs (HubSpot or similar), diallers, calendars and Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
- Resilient, target-driven and consistent - daily activity does not scare you
- Organised record-keeper who never lets a follow-up slip
Benefits
Full-time remote position working for a UK-based employer. Competitive salary paid in ZAR. Long-term stable role. Supportive team environment. Direct access to founder-led business.
