Role overview
Remote Recruitment is looking for a Social Media Assistant to support a UK employer's online presence, working fully remotely from South Africa. You'll help plan, schedule and publish content, keep the community engaged, and make sure the brand looks sharp across channels. Key responsibilities
- Schedule and publish posts across platforms like Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
- Draft simple captions and source visuals in line with brand guidelines
- Respond to comments and messages in a friendly, timely way
- Track basic performance and share simple weekly updates
- Keep the content calendar tidy and up to date
What you'll need
- Experience with social media tools or managing accounts for a brand
- Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Buffer, Later or Meta Business Suite
- A good eye for tidy, on-brand content
- Clear written English and reliable attention to detail
- A stable home internet connection and quiet workspace
What's on offer
