The Wall Street Quants is the fastest-growing bootcamp in quantitative finance, founded by Wall Street professionals and entrepreneurs who have built and scaled businesses. This role focuses on consulting with prospective students—established engineers, physicists, and mathematicians—who are evaluating a transition into quantitative finance.

The advisor role is structured around two key activities:

  • Conducting scheduled consultations (20–35 minutes) with applicants who have already engaged with the program. These conversations are direct, substance-focused, and require assessing fit, addressing objections (cost, timing, confidence), and guiding applicants toward a decision.
  • Managing follow-ups with undecided applicants, confirming appointments, and maintaining CRM records.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing background, goals, and readiness for the program, providing honest advice on fit.
  • Explaining tuition and payment options clearly.
  • Handling objections with empathy and professionalism.
  • Ensuring appointment attendance and keeping applicant records up-to-date.

This role emphasizes structured growth: a 90-day ramp-up period with progressive targets, weekly coaching from recorded calls, and full training on quantitative finance and the program. Performance metrics are transparent, with all advisors' numbers published internally.

Requirements

Candidates must have:

  • 2+ years of experience in admissions, enrollment, or education sales, working with students in the US or Canada.
  • A proven track record of hitting enrollment or cash targets—bring measurable results.
  • Strong sales skills, including the ability to run engaging conversations, uncover true needs, handle objections, and secure decisions.
  • A growth mindset; advisors receive weekly coaching from recorded calls and must actively apply feedback.
  • Fluent, natural English with clear communication—prospects should never need repetition due to accent or connection issues.
  • Availability: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM US Eastern.
  • Professional video setup: 1080p webcam, dedicated headset/microphone, tidy background, front-facing lighting (laptop webcams/earbuds are insufficient).
  • Reliable internet: 25 Mbps+ download, 10 Mbps+ upload, with a mobile hotspot backup.
  • Disciplined CRM practices—every conversation logged, every opportunity current.

A Plus (Not Required):

  • Familiarity with quantitative finance, trading, or markets (training provided on the product/industry).

WallStreetQuants (operating at thewallstreetquants.com) is a quant-focused education platform designed to accelerate the careers of aspiring quantitative analysts and traders. Founded in 2021 and headquartered in New York, WallStreetQuants bridges the gap between theoretical finance knowledge and institutional-grade skills required to thrive in top-tier hedge funds, high-frequency trading (HFT) firms, and proprietary trading environments. Unlike traditional finance programs that lack hands-on application, WallStreetQuants delivers a structured bootcamp blending quant research, algorithmic trading, and interview preparation—all taught by former quants from elite Wall Street firms managing billions in assets. The curriculum covers core topics like statistical arbitrage, machine learning for markets, and portfolio optimization, while also simulating real-world trading challenges. This empowers STEM professionals and career-switchers to break into competitive quant roles with confidence. Though unfunded, the platform leverages its industry pedigree to deliver a rigorous, results-driven learning experience tailored to the demands of modern quantitative finance.
