The Role

The Account Executive, DACH drives new business growth for Omilia’s Conversational AI platform across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This role owns the full sales cycle for enterprise prospects in banking, insurance, healthcare, and utilities, from qualification through contract close. The position is accountable for building a strong regional pipeline and consistently meeting revenue targets. The role acts as a trusted advisor, translating complex CX automation capabilities into clear business value for DACH enterprises.

Accountabilities

  • Own individual revenue targets for the DACH region and deliver consistent, predictable quota attainment.
  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of enterprise prospects across banking, insurance, healthcare, and utilities in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through solution positioning, negotiation, and contract close.
  • Represent Omilia’s value proposition accurately and credibly to C-level and senior stakeholders at prospect organizations.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline data to support regional sales planning led by the VP of Sales, DACH.
  • Build long-term relationships with key accounts to support expansion opportunities post-close.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify new enterprise opportunities within the DACH region through outbound efforts, referrals, and inbound leads.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect business challenges, CX automation needs, and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate with Solutions Consulting and Pre-Sales teams to deliver tailored product demonstrations and proofs of concept.
  • Develop and present business cases, ROI models, and proposals aligned to prospect priorities.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and contracts in coordination with Legal and Finance, within approved guidelines.
  • Maintain up-to-date opportunity records, forecasts, and activity data in the CRM.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on regional campaigns, events, and localized content for the DACH market.
  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth handover and onboarding of new accounts.
  • Stay current on DACH regulatory, competitive, and market dynamics relevant to banking, insurance, healthcare, and utilities.
  • Report regularly on pipeline health, deal risk, and revenue progress to the VP of Sales, DACH.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Required:

  • Proven track record of enterprise B2B sales, ideally in SaaS, CCaaS, or conversational/AI technology.
  • Experience selling into the DACH region, with fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with enterprise clients.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
  • Experience with CRM and forecasting tools (e.g., Salesforce) and disciplined pipeline management.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have:

  • Existing network or prior sales experience within banking, insurance, healthcare, or utilities verticals.
  • Familiarity with contact center technology, CCaaS platforms, or conversational AI solutions.
  • Experience selling in a scale-up or high-growth enterprise software environment.
  • Additional regional language skills relevant to the DACH market.
