As Passport’s logistics network continues to scale and grow more complex, the 3PL Operations team plays a critical role in ensuring orders move accurately, on time, and in line with partner SLAs. This role sits at the center of daily execution, visibility, and accountability across our third-party warehouse network.

In this position, you will work under the 3PL Operations team to monitor performance, identify issues before they escalate, improve operational processes, and hold partners accountable through data-driven insights. This role is best suited for someone who works independently, takes ownership from start to finish, proactively solves problems, continuously looks for ways to improve and automate workflows, and drives solutions forward with minimal oversight. This role requires West Coast–based working hours and location.

What You Will Do

  • Own daily operational monitoring across multiple 3PL partners using KPIs, dashboards, and reports
  • Monitor 3PL performance against SLAs and hold partners accountable through data-driven communication and consistent follow-up
  • Investigate operational issues across systems, carriers, and warehouses, documenting root cause and resolution
  • Analyze large data sets using Excel and other reporting tools to identify trends, anomalies, performance gaps, and opportunities for operational improvement
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve recurring reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, and actionable insights
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with internal teams, 3PL partners, carriers, and customers
  • Present operational findings, trends, and recommendations to internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Independently manage daily priorities and task lists with minimal direction
  • Identify manual or repetitive tasks, recommend automation opportunities, and help implement scalable operational workflows and SOPs
  • Support ad hoc operational initiatives and peak-period execution

What Success Looks Like

  • Issues are identified early and escalated with clear context and proposed next steps
  • Performance data is accurate, timely, and trusted by internal teams
  • 3PL partners are held accountable through professional, data-backed communication
  • Processes improve over time through proactive ownership, documentation, and continuous improvement
  • Manual operational work is reduced through thoughtful automation and scalable workflows
  • Stakeholders receive clear updates without needing to chase for status

About You

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related field
  • Previous experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers is a plus, but not required
  • Full professional proficiency in English (written and verbal), with strong communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills, including working confidently with large data sets, formulas, filters, and pivot tables
  • Experience working with large operational datasets, KPI reporting, and performance analysis is preferred
  • Comfortable presenting operational updates and performance data to partners or clients
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams at once
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a low-supervision environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess issues and move toward resolution
  • Process-oriented, with the ability to understand how systems, data, and workflows connect
  • Continuously looks for opportunities to automate repetitive work and improve operational efficiency
  • Adaptable and able to quickly understand and implement process changes
  • Positive, collaborative team player with a strong sense of ownership

Additional Details

  • This role requires West Coast–based working hours and location.
  • Preferred Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM PT, Monday through Friday. Schedule may be adjusted based on business needs.
  • Strong Excel proficiency is required for reporting, KPI tracking, and data analysis.
  • This role regularly participates in partner and internal meetings, with most communication conducted via video calls. Phone calls are used as needed for time-sensitive or ad hoc issues.
  • Occasional travel may be required based on business needs.
  • Expected to help create, maintain, and improve internal and external SOPs and operational documentation.
  • Experience identifying and implementing workflow automations is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with Zendesk is a plus, but not required.
