About Prophecy
Prophecy (operating at prophecy.ai) is an AI-native data preparation and analysis platform engineered for enterprise business teams. Founded in 2017 by Raj Bains, Vikas Marwaha, Maciej Szpakowski, and Rohit Bakhshi and headquartered in Palo Alto, California, Prophecy revolutionizes how organizations handle data workflows by automating repetitive tasks. Under the hood, the platform leverages AI agents—built on specialized Claude Code—to generate visual data workflows from natural language prompts, eliminating the need for manual coding or low-code configuration. This allows finance, healthcare, and Fortune 500 teams to accelerate data transformations, deploy pipelines across cloud platforms, and monitor workflows with unprecedented efficiency. Backed by a $35 million Series B funding round, Prophecy positions itself as a critical tool for democratizing data work across industries.
