Position Overview
We are seeking a highly autonomous, narrative-defining, and category-building Vice President, Product Marketing to lead our macro go-to-market (GTM) positioning strategy under a permanent, full-time remote configuration open across the United States. In this executive tech marketing leadership seat, you will own the category point-of-view (POV) for the leading Agentic Claims Orchestration platform selling directly to the largest Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance carriers that own roughly 98% of the nation’s claims volume. Shifting completely away from routine non-regulated data transcription entry, entry-level social media posting, or basic website layout tweaks, you will run an active enterprise positioning, “build vs. buy” monetization modeling, and strategic sales enablement laboratory. Partnering face-to-face with the founders, Sales leaders, and Product executives, your role is to make our automated value proposition legible, credible, and unmistakable to Chief Claims Officers (CCOs) and highly appealing to technical CIOs and Chief AI Officers. This position requires an enterprise marketing authority with 10+ years of history who guides multi-brand customer acquisition funnels fluidly natively using SEO and product marketing structures, deconstructs technical capabilities into business-outcome language, designs dual Land-and-Expand playbooks, and builds a senior, AI-first cross-functional team framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Category Architecture & Positioning Governance: Define Assured’s long-term positioning from first principles versus internal AI builds, legacy systems, and emerging software entrants natively utilizing SEO and strategic positioning models.
- Executive Value Narrative Engineering: Translate deep engineering capabilities, model properties, and platform agents into clear, outcome-focused business language that Chief Claims Officers immediately trust.
- Technical CIO Objection Management: Formulate comprehensive objection libraries to systematically counter “build-it-ourselves with frontier models” paradigms, positioning Assured’s domain expertise as an indispensable companion.
- Platform Pricing & Packaging Optimization: Transform our complex product and model portfolio into a unified, modular platform story, optimizing packaging tiers and value-based pricing structures.
- Land Acquisition GTM Execution: Architect elite, executive-ready sales tools—including core pitch assets, analyst-grade whitepapers, and persona-expansion criteria—to systematically capture massive new logos.
- Expand Lifecycle Share Development: Lead and execute the commercial playbook for growing claim-share and process penetration across the full claims lifecycle inside existing strategic accounts.
- AI-First Team Leadership: Hire, mentor, and multiply the output of a high-performance, senior, AI-first product marketing squad, setting absolute standards for operational velocity and artifact quality.
- Frontline Sales Enablement Alignment: Act as the definitive commercial enablement anchor, co-piloting complex customer enterprise meetings, reviewing field data against live deals, and driving pipeline acceleration.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 10+ years of proven, successful professional history operating inside a Vice President of Product Marketing, Head of Growth, Director of GTM Strategy, or closely matching executive enterprise software marketing capacity.
- Expert Enterprise B2B SaaS Pedigree: Extensive track record leading product marketing and category creation within a highly technical, AI-driven, or consumption-priced enterprise software domain.
- Demonstrated capability translating complex algorithmic, machine learning, or automated workflow models into high-impact, outcome-focused prose for non-technical corporate buyers.
- Proven background building and executing sophisticated enterprise dual “Land and Expand” client lifecycle models, scaling account share within massive organizational layers.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and boardroom presentation communication strengths in English, with an established ability to lead strategic conversations with C-level executives (CCOs, CIOs, and CAIOs).
- Location Context: Position operates under remote guidelines open exclusively to qualified product marketing executives residing permanently within the United States.
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior experience or direct domain marketing background selling into the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, InsurTech, FinTech, or highly regulated corporate technology sectors.
- Familiarity with leveraging automated data tracking networks, modern CRM architectures, and AI-assisted creation toolchains to accelerate asset distribution.
- Pedigree scaling enterprise technology companies from late-stage venture rounds to market-dominant category leaders.
