We're looking for a full-time, 5 month contract Video Lead, Video & Animation to join our Brand Marketing team in the US, reporting to our Creative Director. This role will play a huge part in our continued brand rollout and implementation.

What youâll do:
- Support Redisâ Brand video function during a temporary coverage period, helping keep priority video projects moving from intake through final delivery.
- Manage day-to-day video project coordination across Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Events, Enablement, and other internal partners.
- Scope incoming video requests, clarify goals and deliverables, build timelines, track milestones, and flag priorities or resourcing tradeoffs.
- Oversee the end-to-end production process for a range of video projects, including brand videos, product marketing videos, paid/social cutdowns, internal videos, event content, demos, and customer-facing stories.
- Partner closely with the Brand team to ensure video work feels polished, on-brand, and aligned with Redisâ creative direction.
- Coordinate with external video, motion, and production partners, including sharing briefs, assets, feedback, timelines, and delivery specs.
- Review scripts, storyboards, rough cuts, motion graphics, captions, and final exports for clarity, quality, brand consistency, and accuracy.
- Support light post-production needs when helpful, including pulling selects, creating simple cutdowns, captioning, versioning, export prep, and organizing final deliverables.
- Help adapt video assets across formats and channels.
- Support occasional in-person production needs in the SF Bay Area, including shoot prep, shot lists, vendor coordination, stakeholder communication, and on-site production support.
- Keep project files, asset folders, feedback threads, and handoff notes organized so work is easy for the team to track while the internal video lead is out.
What youâll need:
- 5+ years of experience in video production, creative production, branded content, post-production, or a similar role.
- Experience managing video projects from brief through final delivery in a brand, agency, in-house creative, tech, SaaS, or marketing environment.
- Strong understanding of video production and post-production workflows, including pre-production, production, editing, review cycles, versioning, captions, exports, and final delivery.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple timelines, stakeholders, feedback rounds, and deliverables at once.
- Good creative judgment across pacing, storytelling, visuals, music, motion, captions, and overall polish.
- Ability to give clear, actionable feedback to editors, animators, vendors, and internal partners.
- Comfort coordinating with external production, animation, motion, or freelance partners.
- Hands-on familiarity with video tools and workflows, especially Adobe Premiere Pro, Frame.io, Figma, Google Drive, Slack, and project management tools like Asana.
- Light editing or post-production ability; you do not need to be a full-time editor, but should be comfortable jumping in on simple cutdowns, selects, captions, versioning, and exports when needed.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through; this person should be able to keep projects moving with limited hand-holding.
- Collaborative, flexible, low-ego working style and comfort operating in a fast-moving marketing environment.
- Local to the SF Bay Area preferred, or able to be available locally for occasional in-person shoots.
Nice to haves:
- Experience with B2B tech, SaaS, developer tools, or complex technical storytelling.
- Familiarity with After Effects, Figma, motion/design handoff workflows, or AI-assisted video tools.
