Upstream operates at a true market scale, consistently leveraging advanced data analytics, corporate technology systems, and workflow innovations to drive smarter healthcare decision-making, optimize clinic staffing pipelines, and maintain uncompromised operational excellence across all organizational channels.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly detailed, process-oriented, and self-directed Travel Therapy Coordinator to own the administrative backbone and operational coordination of our industry-leading Traveler Program under a permanent, full-time remote footprint open across the United States (with localized coordination nodes aligned to Birmingham, AL). In this high-leverage workforce planning and clinical administration seat, you will support our National Travel Team by tracking contingent clinical talent, managing vendor relations, and optimizing deployment schedules. Shifting completely away from non-regulated customer support phone queues, entry-level styling edits, or generic medical billing processing, you will operate an active multi-tiered contractor roster database, managed service provider (MSP) liaison pipeline, and clinical credentialing verification laboratory. Partnering directly beside clinic hiring managers, HR specialists, and agency account directors, you will ensure our outpatient facilities are perfectly staffed to deliver exceptional patient care. This position requires an operational professional with 1+ years of coordination experience who handles workforce fields fluidly natively using Virtual Assistant, Project Management, and Spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) primitives, executes flawless multi-party scheduling, and manages tight clinical compliance timelines under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Contractor Roster Governance: Maintain immaculate, error-free tracking of clinical contractors, contract labor requisitions, and candidate deployment records across centralized tracking setups natively utilizing Virtual Assistant primitives.
  • MSP & Agency Alliance Liaison: Serve as the primary, highly responsive operational point of contact for outpatient hiring managers and external MSP/agency partners, streamlining multi-party communications and touchpoint reviews.
  • Workforce Planning Analytics: Compile, format, and generate comprehensive weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly metrics reports natively deploying Spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) to audit travel program performance variables and support corporate resource distribution.
  • Traveler Lifecycle Instrumentation: Coordinate the end-to-end logistics of the National Travel Team alongside leadership—including initiating clinic transfers, dispatching confirmations, and distributing traveler welcome kits.
  • Credentialing and Compliance Triage: Monitor multi-state clinical credentialing progress, verify regulatory documentation, and optimize background checking gates to ensure travelers are cleared for day-one clinic onboarding.
  • Internal Initiative Coordination: Execute and support core talent enablement programs, including our internal Journey All Staff networks and Journey Mentor frameworks natively leveraging Project Management guidelines.
  • Database & Intranet Preservation: Keep the travel team’s core schedules, internal roster logs, and corporate intranet documentation channels up to date, eliminating data anomalies or outdated performance archives.
  • Process Optimization Auditing: Partner close-knit with human resource managers and business operations cells to iteratively discover workflow shortcuts, update step-by-step onboarding runbooks, and collect post-assignment evaluations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Possess a high school diploma, General Education Development (GED) credential, or verified matching technical or administrative background (a formal Bachelor’s degree is treated as a nice-to-have indicator).
  • A minimum of 1+ years of proven, successful professional experience operating within a detail-oriented, self-directed administrative coordination, executive support, data entry, or closely matching tech-enabled operational capacity.
  • Expert Information Management Command: Demonstrated practical track record single-handedly managing multiple conflicting priorities, relational schedule trackers, and multi-stakeholder communication pipelines inside a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and textual presentation communication strengths in English, with an established ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain absolute data hygiene.
  • Advanced operational literacy utilizing standard business communication packages and collaborative infrastructure software (including complete comfort with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, or proximal cloud tooling platforms).
  • Travel Readiness: Capacity and willingness to undertake occasional travel up to 5% of the time as required to fulfill corporate project targets.
  • Location Context: Position operates under remote parameters open exclusively to qualified corporate operations and workforce administration authorities residing permanently within the United States.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior platform or consulting background managing contingent clinical labor, health provider sourcing tracking, or contractor recruitment pipelines explicitly inside the outpatient physical therapy, hospital human resources, or corporate healthcare operations sectors.
  • Familiarity navigating advanced healthcare vendor management systems (VMS), applicant tracking tools, or cloud-based document validation software.
  • An adaptable, high-agency performer persona characterized by an automation-first focus, strong time management capabilities, and a genuine passion for building sustainable internal pipelines that support clinical talent.

What We Offer

  • Top-Tier US Healthcare Corporate Administration Remuneration: A highly competitive hourly compensation package calibrated strictly to an established market scale of $19.00 - $21.60/hour, supplemented by regular performance evaluations and lucrative corporate rewards.
  • 100% remote workspace infrastructure flexibility across the United States, freeing your working calendar from physical office commute blockages.
  • Macro Scale Workforce Footprint: Elite professional growth checkpoints achieved by single-handedly architecting the administrative pipelines and tracking architectures that deploy clinical talent across 1,200+ healthcare facilities.
  • Comprehensive physical well-being coverage, featuring an elite 100% employer-paid medical health insurance premium option alongside matching dental and vision protection plans.
  • Access to a 401(k) retirement savings choice with company match provisions, a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) package, paid public holidays, an annual paid Charity Day to support your chosen cause, and extensive corporate leadership development programs built for lifelong professional mastery.
