Transaction Validation Project Participant (Australia)

About the Opportunity

CloudFactory is seeking participants to support a short-term transaction validation project for a global payments processing company. The project aims to evaluate the accuracy of payment transaction matching to individuals.

As a participant, you will review approximately 50 recent payment transactions from the last 3 months and indicate whether you recognize each transaction as one you made yourself. You may also add brief notes for clarification.

How It Works

1. Provide the email address(es) linked to merchants, subscriptions, apps, or online accounts you use.
2. The client will securely identify and share payment transactions associated with those emails for validation.
3. Review transactions (including merchant name, date, amount, payment method, card identifier, and issuer) on the project platform.
4. Confirm recognition of each transaction and optionally add notes.

This activity will take approximately 1–2 hours. No sensitive data (e.g., full card numbers, banking credentials, CVV, or PINs) will be requested or uploaded.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Currently reside in Australia.
• Active debit/credit card user.
• Have made purchases/payments in the last 3 months across diverse merchants.
• Must recognize your own recent transactions.
• Have access to email addresses linked to the merchants/services in the questionnaire.
• Willing to provide those email addresses if selected.
• Ready to review 50 transactions and confirm ownership.

Privacy and consent are critical due to the handling of personal/financial data. You will receive Participant Consent & Confidentiality Terms outlining how your information will be used. You may withdraw consent before the project begins.
