At Spreetail, we help brands accelerate their e-commerce growth by managing logistics, fulfillment, and marketplace operations at scale. We're looking for a Trade Compliance Analyst to help ensure our import operations remain accurate, compliant, and efficient. In this role, you'll own import entry audits, strengthen customs compliance processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams and customs brokers, and build scalable tools that improve data accuracy, reduce duty overspend, and support seamless global trade operations.

How will you achieve success:

  • Own the end-to-end import entry audit process, reviewing CBP documentation, identifying discrepancies, driving corrective actions, and maintaining audit-ready records.
  • Manage Post Summary Corrections (PSCs), validate duty payments, monitor broker performance, and partner with Finance to recover overpayments and ensure compliance.
  • Support customs classification accuracy by reviewing HTS assignments, resolving discrepancies, and providing guidance on complex classification issues.
  • Analyze import data to identify compliance risks, duty savings opportunities, and process improvements while developing dashboards, automation, and reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with Transportation, Finance, Merchandising, brokers, and other cross-functional teams to improve customs processes, documentation, and import data integrity.

What experiences will help you in this role:

  • Experience with U.S. customs compliance, including CBP Form 7501, customs valuation, country of origin requirements, HTS classification, and trade remedies such as Sections 301 and 232.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify documentation and duty calculation errors, quantify financial impact, and maintain accurate audit records.
  • Experience working with customs brokers, managing Post Summary Corrections (PSCs), and ensuring compliance with importer of record requirements.
  • Advanced spreadsheet and data analysis skills, with experience creating reports, calculators, dashboards, or automation that improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams, influence process improvements, and manage compliance risks proactively.

In an effort to Make Spreetail Better, we hire people that are aligned with our values and are passionate about pursuing ecommerce excellence. We believe the right person can learn what is needed to succeed in their role, so we encourage job applicants to apply even if you don't meet all the qualifications listed. We are looking for diverse backgrounds and perspectives, so we don’t require college degrees and welcome non-linear career paths. If this role highlights your experience and gets you excited – please apply!

  • We provide the flexibility to take care of yourself. Spreetail operates in a work culture that promotes results and encourages taking time off when needed. In addition to a generous vacation policy, we also offer paid time-off for your wedding week, paid parental leave and support for parents of growing families.

Spreetail is a full-service omnichannel ecommerce accelerator designed specifically for brands and manufacturers of big-and-bulky products (like furniture, outdoor gear, and appliances). Instead of acting as a typical marketing agency, Spreetail actually buys the inventory directly from the manufacturer at wholesale. They then take full ownership of the process: listing the products across 12+ major marketplaces (including Amazon, Walmart, and Target), optimizing the listings with high-quality content, running ad campaigns, and handling the complex logistics of storing and shipping oversized items so they reach the customer's door the very next day.
