Your Mission as a Technical Writer
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, knowledge base articles, training materials, process documentation, and help content.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure technical accuracy.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
- Develop and maintain documentation templates, style guides, and standards to ensure consistency.
- Research and compile information from multiple sources to create comprehensive content.
- Review, edit, and proofread documentation for clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Manage documentation repositories and ensure content remains current and relevant.
- Partner with project managers and stakeholders to deliver documentation on schedule.
- Gather feedback from internal and external audiences to continuously improve documentation quality.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in technical communication.
What You Bring to the Team
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field required.
- Preferred certifications:
- CTW
- ITIL Foundation
Experience & Skills
- Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and professional documentation.
- Experience working with technical subject matter and communicating complex information to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and documentation management tools.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously.
- Strong project management and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with software development methodologies and technical concepts is preferred.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
