Core Responsibilities

Design how each integration works, own the plan from research to handoff, drive the roadmap for the integration surface, and partner across Nametag.

Key Tasks

Design how each integration actually works:

  • Develop real expertise in each target platform’s extension model—its APIs, webhooks, UI surfaces, auth model, app review process, and limits.
  • Design the verification flow within constraints: where the user is prompted, what they see, how the result comes back, and what happens on failure.
  • Make hard calls explicit—embedded vs. redirect, synchronous vs. asynchronous, graceful degradation when constraints are tight.
  • Identify constraints that could kill the integration early.

Own the plan from research to handoff:

  • Research the target product, its market position, and customer workflows.
  • Define the architecture: Nametag-side APIs, target-side calls, deployment/configuration models.
  • Produce specs for engineering (API design, integration specs, build milestones) and partner with design on admin console/setup experiences.
  • Write customer-facing setup/admin documentation.

Drive the roadmap for the integration surface:

  • Prioritize build order based on customer demand, sales signals, and partnership context.
  • Own marketplace/listing paths, including business/technical requirements.
  • Track adoption and learn from past integrations.

Partner across Nametag:

  • Collaborate with Engineering during build/launch to resolve design questions.
  • Work with Go-to-Market on positioning, enablement, and technical deal conversations.
  • Partner with teams on relationships unlocking listings and co-selling.

Push the AI-forward practice:

  • Use agent tooling to compress research, spec writing, and documentation.
  • Treat outputs as your responsibility—accuracy over speed.
  • Improve shared playbooks for faster future integrations.

Requirements

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US. No visa sponsorship.

  • 4+ years in technical product management, solutions architecture, platform/partner engineering, or similar roles.
  • Experience integrating into third-party enterprise platforms (ITSM, HRIS, ATS, IdP, collaboration tools) with at least one marketplace/app review process.
  • Technical fluency: API documentation, authentication flows, spec writing, and platform limitations.
  • Track record of working within unchangeable constraints.
  • Strong written communication—integration plans are deliverables.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and startup-speed ownership.
  • Fluency with AI tooling and critical evaluation of outputs.

Bonus Points

  • Hands-on experience with Workday, ServiceNow, Slack, Okta, Entra, ICIMS, or UKG.
  • Background in IAM, identity verification, fraud prevention, or security products.
  • Experience with OAuth, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, and webhook-based integrations.
  • Prior experience in engineering, solutions engineering, or enterprise IT.
  • Experience building an integration program or partner ecosystem.

Company Values

  • High ownership—see what needs doing and do it.
  • Technical judgment—simplify systems, enhance safety, and improve operability.
  • Speed with care—move quickly but never compromise trust or security.
  • Kindness and integrity—trust starts with how we work together.
