iPiD (International Payments Identity, operating under ipid.tech) is a venture-backed global fintech platform specializing in advanced payee verification, data orchestration, and pre-payment validation solutions. Founded in 2021 by a veteran team of former SWIFT and Thomson Reuters executives, the startup addresses the massive global inefficiencies of failed cross-border transactions and authorized push payment (APP) fraud by allowing enterprises to confirm beneficiary names and account details before any money moves. iPiD's flagship infrastructure provides a single, payment-rail-agnostic API network that enables banks, fintechs, digital wallets, and platforms like Careem Pay and Nium to securely validate accounts covering over 2.8 billion endpoints across six continents. By leveraging a decentralized data architectural layout that strictly enforces a zero-data-storage policy, the system seamlessly matches routing coordinates, proxy endpoints (such as phone numbers, emails, or QR codes), and regulatory compliance layers without compromising local data privacy laws. Supported by institutional investors including QED Investors, Monk's Hill Ventures, and Visa Accelerator, iPiD significantly reduces operational drag, mitigates transaction errors, and powers trust into international digital remittance ecosystems.
