You will be the first person in this role: no legacy processes, the opportunity to build everything according to your vision. You will collaborate closely with DevOps and Security teams and contribute to preparing the company for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications.

What You Will Do:
- Build a complete identity lifecycle: onboarding and offboarding by role-based profiles, handling access requests to 30+ systems, maintaining an access matrix, and conducting quarterly access reviews;
- Manage MFA/SSO coverage, configure access control via groups instead of individual grants, and remove orphaned accounts;
- Oversee endpoint management: equipment inventory, MDM and EDR deployment, patch management, browser extension control, and unauthorized software;
- Manage VPN users: issuance, revocation, key rotation, session audits, and inactive accounts;
- Maintain a vendor and provider registry (contracts, billing, DPA, sub-processors), track limits and deadlines for contract renewals, and prepare a monthly spend report;
- Gather evidence for audits, maintain a policy registry, and organize security awareness training and phishing simulations with the Security Officer;
- Serve as the first line (L1) in security incidents on workstations: gather facts, isolate devices, and document timelines.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience as a System Administrator / IT Administrator / IT Ops in a product IT company with a distributed team of 30–40 people;
- Proficient administration of Google Workspace: users, groups, OUs, security policies, enforced MFA, audit logs;
- Practical experience with onboarding/offboarding and access management following the principle of least privilege;
- Experience administering SaaS services: Slack, Jira/Confluence, GitHub, Notion, Figma, password managers (NordPass, 1Password, Bitwarden);
- Experience with MDM for macOS, Linux, and Windows, including updates and security patches;
- Experience deploying and administering antivirus/EDR solutions;
- Experience managing VPN users;
- Understanding of basic information security principles: MFA, separation of duties, risks of shared and orphaned accounts;
- Systematic approach to documentation and registry maintenance;
- Daily use of AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) for scripting, documentation, and checklists, and understanding the risks of shadow AI;
- English proficiency at B1 level;
- Willingness to respond to L1 security incidents outside working hours (additional compensation).
Nice-to-Have:
- Participation in SOC 2, ISO 27001, or other external audit preparation, experience with compliance platforms;
- Configuration of SSO/SAML and SCIM provisioning;
- Experience with Jamf, Kandji, Mosyle, or Microsoft Intune;
- Experience with CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint;
- Automation with scripts: Bash, Python, PowerShell, Google Apps Script, GAM;
- Experience with vendor management and understanding of AWS and GCP billing;
- Jira Service Management or another ticketing system for access requests;
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Google Workspace Administrator, Jamf Certified, Microsoft Intune.
