System Administrator (DISA)

About the Role

Horizon Industries Limited (Horizon) is seeking a System Administrator with 5+ years of experience in system administration, infrastructure support, or a related IT field.

Core Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot software and operating systems.
• Administer enterprise applications and/or middleware environments.
• Support application deployment, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with application servers such as JBoss, WildFly, WebLogic, or similar technologies.
• Work with major operating systems, including Linux/Unix or Windows Server.
• Apply system and application security best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in large-scale enterprise or government IT environments.
• Collaborate with technical teams and work independently.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in system administration, infrastructure support, or related IT field.
• Hands-on experience with software and operating systems.
• Experience with enterprise applications and middleware environments.
• Familiarity with application servers like JBoss, WildFly, WebLogic.
• Proficient in Linux/Unix or Windows Server.
• Understanding of system and application security best practices.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise or government IT environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in a technical discipline required.
