Position Overview
We are seeking a highly sophisticated, metrics-driven Strategic Account Executive - Life Sciences & Pharma to join our core regional DACH sales organization in a full-time remote capacity within Germany. Operating inside one of our most vital, high-yield strategic industry verticals, you will claim individual commercial accountability for cultivating deep consultative relationships and driving expansion revenue across a selected portfolio of established life sciences and pharmaceutical giants headquartered in Germany. Moving entirely beyond simple transactional sales or passive account management, you will champion a value-driven land-and-expand commercial model. This high-stakes executive seat demands a seasoned technology sales craftsman with 8+ years of background who navigates massive corporate networks up to the C-suite fluidly, understands complex supply chain and finance KPIs intimately, and drives multi-million euro transactions from early discovery loops down to value realization under high-velocity conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Portfolio Account Governance: Manage and lead the commercial expansion strategy across an elite selection of strategic customer accounts, utilizing a value-driven consultative sales methodology to cultivate net-new opportunities.
- C-Suite Relationship Orchestration: Engage directly with cross-line-of-business business and IT stakeholders, pitching Celonis solutions with absolute confidence to senior executives including CFOs, COOs, CPOs, and CIOs natively using Sales Representative frameworks.
- High-Value Sales Cycles Execution: Lead and close complex six-to-seven-figure software transactions, systematically driving multi-stakeholder sales motions across the entire core enterprise value chain.
- AI-Enabled Use Case Translation: Deconstruct complex corporate operational bottlenecks, translating core industrial challenges into compelling, data-driven AI solutions that maximize customer execution capacity.
- Cross-Functional Virtual Team Management: Command and orchestrate multi-tier virtual support teams—including Business Development Representatives (BDRs), sales engineers, solution architects, marketing cells, and partner managers—to accelerate deal velocity natively leveraging Lead Generation workflows.
- Partner and Alliance Co-Selling: Collaborate intensely alongside major international management consulting groups, system integrators, and strategic SaaS vendor networks to amplify pipeline expansion.
- Data-Driven Pipeline Integrity: Document and manage clear opportunity tracking, territory whitespace analysis, and transaction records natively inside global enterprise CRM databases.
- Cross-Border Multilingual Presentation: Deliver highly technical platform demonstrations and pitch arguments fluidly in fluent German and English to handle diverse international line-of-business demands.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of verified professional history running advanced enterprise software sales, corporate account management, management consulting, or full-lifecycle B2B technology business development.
- Proven track record successfully managing and closing large enterprise SaaS or deep-tech software contracts with multi-tier global enterprise groups.
- Deep, authoritative context regarding key operational processes and KPIs inside the Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical industries, with particular focus on Finance and Supply Chain metrics.
- Demonstrated capability to interface credibly with senior IT and business executives, mapping software tools directly to complex balance sheet and productivity parameters.
- Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal traits, showing an absolute capacity to command high-stakes boardrooms and align distributed internal resources.
- Language and Location Context: Native or professional-tier bilingual fluency in written and spoken German and English is strictly required to support the local DACH market under a 100% remote work-from-home layout within Germany.

- Prior commercial experience selling Process Mining software, Business Process Management (BPM) tools, high-scale analytics suites, or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integrations.
