Position Overview
We are seeking a highly aggressive, tech-operations minded Strategic Account Director (SAD) to join our core global Strategic Accounts Team in a full-time remote capacity within the United States. In this high-stakes, pure business development seat, you will function as a highly resilient corporate hunter tasked with building an enterprise book of business completely from scratch based on zero inbound leads. Moving entirely past passive client management or traditional order-taking setups, you will own the full sales lifecycle—identifying, qualifying, pitching, and securing multi-million-dollar event production programs with Fortune 5000 organizations. This high-agency role demands a seasoned agency veteran with 5+ years of event sector background who maps complex client business goals to a technical production reality, navigates internal political structures smoothly, and remains continuously fields-ready to support a 30% domestic travel cadence to secure face-to-face deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Book-of-Business Generation: Engineer a robust new business pipeline by initiating outbound strategic outreach campaigns, high-level networking, and deep relationship architecture from scratch.
- Multi-Million Dollar Deal Closing: Qualify, construct, pitch, and close multi-year corporate solutions, securing a minimum target benchmark of $1M in new business within your initial 12-month tenure.
- Cross-Functional Production Alignment: Guide, synchronize, and lead cross-functional proposal teams composed of internal Production Managers, Technical Directors, and creative specialists to transform a client creative blueprint into reality.
- Sector Target Triage: Penetrate, pitch, and scale brand presence across high-frequency target enterprise sectors, with an absolute focus on the Pharma, FinServ, Tech, and Consulting markets.
- Relationship Architecture: Cultivate deep personal and professional bonds with top-tier meeting planners, executive stakeholders, and corporate C-suite buyers to anchor Meeting Tomorrow as their dedicated events partner.
- Full-Cycle Contract Ownership: Direct full commercial transaction flows, managing deals from the first cold touchpoint through intense contract negotiations down to validating that the net-new event execution loops land flawlessly.
- In-The-Field Brand Presence: Execute a high-touch field strategy, spending up to 30% of your time traveling domestically to man exhibition booths, attend prominent industry summits, and secure enterprise partnerships in person.
- Data Pipeline Management: Document and map complex customer account profiles, decision hierarchies, and event frequencies natively utilizing corporate analytical systems and reporting Spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of verified professional history running advanced enterprise sales, event agency business development, or multi-tier corporate media planning tracks (with a strong preference for full-service agency exposure over AV hardware-only sales models).
- Proven, production-tested track record successfully building a book of business from the ground up, highlighting a history managing over $10M in lifetime event revenue across a diverse, multi-market client matrix.
- Deep, pre-existing, and high-level corporate relationship networks established natively within at least one of our key target areas: Pharmaceuticals, Financial Services, Technology, or Management Consulting.
- Outstanding verbal, written, and consultative presentation mechanics, with a demonstrated capacity to articulate technical production constraints, staging metrics, and logistics configurations fluidly to executive boards.
- Absolute self-management traits and raw grit, proving a demonstrated capacity to map and hunt down enterprise targets aggressively without waiting for corporate direction or inbound support structures.
- Location Context & Mobility Parameters: Full-time remote parameters open exclusively to qualified builders based permanently anywhere within the United States to operate from home, paired with total readiness to support up to 30% domestic travel requirements.
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior experience coordinating complex bid responses or drafting comprehensive proposals for large-scale multi-city global event roadmaps.
- Familiarity with enterprise procurement software guidelines, master service agreement (MSA) contract layout conditions, or client tier licensing rules.
- An outcome-driven startup mindset that views advanced digital automation and CRM tracking tools not as administrative overhead, but as key weapons to supercharge sales velocity.
What We Offer
- High-Yield U.S. Total Rewards Matrix: An attractive full-time baseline salary structure between $110,000 – $150,000 USD per year, paired with an uncapped, highly lucrative commission plan driving a realistic first-year **On-Target Earning (OTE) close to $200,000 – $300,000 USD**, with absolutely zero ceiling on your potential earnings.
- The exceptional professional canvas to directly direct, shape, and deploy the commercial growth strategy introducing Meeting Tomorrow award-winning production engines to the world largest brands.
- Profound work-from-home remote parameters providing an elite digital workplace, complete scheduling autonomy, and absolute geographic flexibility within the United States.
- Immediate eligibility to enroll in comprehensive medical, dental, and vision premium insurance frameworks.
- Access to employer-paid Short-Term Disability (STD), Long-Term Disability (LTD), Life Insurance policies, and full EAP coordinates.
- Secure retirement provisions via an active corporate 401(k) retirement system featuring employer matching up to 4%.
- Excellent life calibration perks, encompassing **16 initial PTO days** (scaling upward based on tenure), 9 paid company holidays, an annual corporate profit-sharing bonus allocation, and **12 weeks of 100% Paid Parental Leave** (covering maternity, paternity, and adoption tracks).
- Dedicated workplace wellness stipends, including a $50 monthly fitness reimbursement, monthly remote internet/cell connection allowances, and up to **$1,000 in annual matching corporate donations** to charities of your explicit choice.
