Responsibilities:
Support the daily, weekly, and monthly US GAAP accounting tasks for the foreign acquisition, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Support the month-end close process, including reviewing account reconciliations, posting adjusting journal entries, consolidating into the Hims & Hers’ instance of NetSuite and completing assigned responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner.
Support team work products with attention to detail, identifying and correcting errors while working with the Manager, International Accounting to enhance processes that improve accuracy and efficiency.
Support the review of intercompany transactions and eliminations across subsidiaries.
Where required, assist the Australian-based account team with preparation of statutory financial statements and liaise with external auditors.
Support accounting documentation, policies, and internal controls.
Support assigned Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act of 2002 key controls and ensure performance with no deficiencies.
Support due diligence and integration for new market launches and expansions.
Support process improvements and system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Develop strong cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders and ensure timely, accurate delivery of requests and projects.
Serve as a key point of contact for relevant accounting matters, ensuring clear communication and issue escalation as needed.
Experience & Skills:
2+ years of accounting experience; Big 4 public accounting is strongly preferred.
BA or BS degree in Accounting.
CPA track is strongly preferred.
Foundational understanding of U.S. GAAP; exposure to IFRS is preferred.
Experience supporting month-end close and preparing account reconciliations.
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite experience a plus).
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow within the revenue accounting function.
