Job Summary:
As a Solutions Architect supporting APAC, you’ll be a customer-facing technical partner helping enterprise customers implement, adopt, and expand their use of Drata’s security and compliance automation platform. You’ll own the technical customer experience from kickoff through ongoing adoption—serving as implementation lead, platform expert, trainer, and trusted advisor.
You’ll work closely with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Engineering to solve complex customer needs, improve technical enablement, and represent the needs of APAC customers. This role requires availability to start at 8:00 a.m. local time to support collaboration with North American teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Own a portfolio of APAC enterprise customers as their primary technical point of contact.
- Lead end-to-end implementations, including project plans, milestones, risk management, stakeholder coordination, configuration, testing, and launch readiness.
- Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and translate business, security, and compliance requirements into scalable solutions.
- Monitor customer health, usage, renewal risk, and expansion opportunities; partner with Customer Success to address risks proactively.
- Configure and customize Drata, integrate customer systems, support data migrations, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Advise customers on integrations, APIs, cloud infrastructure, identity and access, development workflows, security tools, HR systems, and AI-enabled compliance workflows.
- Deliver training, workshops, QBR technical insights, documentation, and self-service guidance to increase customer adoption and independence.
- Reduce engineering escalations by diagnosing issues, documenting platform behavior, and providing clear technical remediations.
- Partner with Product and Engineering on UAT, bug reports, feature requests, customer use cases, and regional requirements.
- Share APAC customer trends and best practices across Customer Success and the broader company through enablement and technical documentation.
What You’ll Bring:
- 8+ years of post-sales experience in a Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, Implementation Manager, Customer Success Engineer, or similar role in B2B SaaS.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, end-to-end enterprise implementations.
- Customer-facing experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting, training, and debugging with both technical and executive audiences.
- 5+ years in security, compliance, GRC, or a related field is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools or platforms, ideally applied to compliance or GRC workflows.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure; REST APIs and JSON; and scripting or development with technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Python, Bash, Shell, or Unix.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, QA, and Security teams.
- Based in, or able to work hours aligned with, the APAC region. English fluency is required; additional regional languages are a plus.
- Familiarity with APAC regulatory, data residency, or market requirements is a plus.

Drata
View Company ProfileDrata is the premier, AI-native compliance automation, continuous risk management, and security governance powerhouse engineered to operate as the definitive trust infrastructure layer for modern global enterprises. Operating as a mission-critical automation engine that scaled from launch to over $100M ARR in record time, the company eliminates the severe systemic friction of traditional point-in-time compliance auditing—where security teams struggle with manual spreadsheet tracking, annual screenshot collections, and opaque third-party risk assessments—by deploying an agentic trust management platform. Moving far beyond static compliance frameworks, Drata unifies real-time control tracking, enterprise GRC architectures, automated vendor risk management, and dynamic user access reviews into a single high-performance workspace. The platform empowers over 8,500 global customers, including major innovators and Fortune 100 leaders, to cross-map controls across dozens of frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and FedRAMP with elite, scalable, and audit-ready precision. Under the hood, its sophisticated cloud-native architecture—supercharged by generative AI agents, direct integrations with hundreds of infrastructure tools, and deep capabilities from its strategic acquisition of SafeBase—natively orchestrates automated evidence collection pipelines, intelligent questionnaire responses, and live Trust Center analytics. What sets Drata apart is its uncompromising dedication to replacing periodic compliance checks with continuous, verifiable security posture monitoring; by bridging the gap between highly technical, performance-intensive data telemetry and clear enterprise-grade risk visibility, the platform enables modern scaling companies to eliminate up to 75% of audit durations, accelerate sales cycles, and build an unassailable foundation for continuous commercial trust worldwide.
