Position Overview

We are seeking a highly sophisticated, technical Solutions Architect to join our core global Technical Success division in a full-time remote capacity within the United States. In this highly visible, customer-facing engineering seat, you will combine a strong full-stack software development background with polished consultative skills to accelerate product adoption and drive outstanding technical outcomes across the enterprise segment. Moving completely past typical high-level advisory slides, you will claim absolute individual accountability for owning Algolia solution patterns, prototyping tailored applications to fit explicit business pain points, and offering trusted advice to client architects and senior executives. This high-agency role demands a seasoned full-stack engineer who writes fluent frontend scripts, commands deep server-side framework logic, and seamlessly mitigates data implementation dependencies under tight production timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Trusted Architectural Advisory: Engage directly with enterprise technical architects and corporate stakeholders to design, document, and deploy high-quality search architecture solutions and product training models.
• Frontend Interface Engineering: Program, clean, and review responsive frontend rendering loops, discovery widgets, and custom search components natively utilizing JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Backend Framework Integration: Interface Algolia search clusters seamlessly with client application backends, tracking data logic flows and indexing protocols across web environments like Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or Django.
• Rapid Solution Prototyping: Code, catalog, and demonstrate interactive software prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and reusable tools to streamline complex indexing, algorithmic searching, and UI layout best practices.
• Full-Lifecycle Project Management: Drive large and small delivery initiatives to completion on time and on budget, mapping detailed action plans, project dependencies, risk mitigation roadmaps, and final retrospective reports.
• Cross-Functional Product Evangelism: Partner tightly with internal Success Management, Engagement Managers, and core Product cells to align developer payloads with customer technical specifications.
• Defect Triage & Feature Requests: Coordinate sequentially with internal Engineering squads to isolate, track, and resolve system-level customer bugs and prioritize upcoming search engine features.
• Scalable Ecosystem Content Creation: Build out reusable technical collateral, engineering tutorials, internal projects, and developer blog posts to scale customer engagement efficiency worldwide.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of verified professional history running advanced solutions architecture, technical consulting, pre-sales/post-sales systems engineering, or full-stack software development.
• Proven commercial experience deploying or maintaining digital software architectures within the **E-commerce, CMS, DXP, or Search-as-a-Service** domain spaces.
• Expert-tier client-facing mechanics, showcasing a keen awareness of sensitive corporate topics and the ability to establish rapport with technical developers and Senior Executives alike.
• Deep technical proficiency programming frontend application landscapes natively with **JavaScript, HTML, and CSS**.
• Hands-on experience configuring server-side application logic and managing data persistence states inside a modern **Backend framework (such as Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or Django)**.
• Outstanding analytical mechanics, with a demonstrated capability to analyze system dependencies, diagnose integration anomalies, and author clear final recommendation documents under tight deadlines.
• Location Context: Full-time operational parameters open exclusively to qualified full-stack engineering and consultative leads based permanently anywhere within the United States to operate 100% remotely from home.
