Software Developer

The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into clean, scalable, and efficient code. The ideal candidate actively participates in the entire software development lifecycle—from initial conception to deployment and maintenance—while advocating for engineering best practices, code quality, and automation. Responsibilities of the Role

• Design, write, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure code following industry best practices and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and UX/UI designers to define project requirements, system architecture, and functional specifications.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.
• Integrate front-end elements with back-end logic, building and consuming RESTful APIs or microservices.
• Identify, debug, and resolve performance bottlenecks, technical debt, and system bugs in production and non-production environments.
• Write clean, maintainable unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure software quality and application stability.
• Partner with DevOps teams to support automated CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Document technical design choices, API specifications, and operational workflows to facilitate team knowledge sharing.
• Mentor junior developers, participate in continuous learning initiatives, and suggest technical improvements to enhance overall productivity.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid hands-on experience in software development using modern programming languages (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#).
• Strong knowledge of modern front-end (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) or back-end frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Spring Boot, .NET Core, Django).
• Practical experience working with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design, RESTful API architecture, design patterns, and data structures.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and Git-based workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, containerization concepts (Docker), and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, JUnit, etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Relevant industry certifications (AWS, Azure, or language-specific credentials).
