Purpose of the role
As an SEO and AI Search Executive, you will play a key role in delivering SEO and AI search activity for one of Keyloop's flagship UK accounts: a prestigious automotive group with over 20 franchise websites.
Reporting to the SEO and AI Search Manager and working under the day-to-day direction of the Lead SEO and AI Search Strategist, you will implement SEO and AI search initiatives across the customer's franchise network, ensuring work is delivered accurately, on time and to a high standard. You will be responsible for the implementation, optimisation, reporting, research and day-to-day execution of SEO and AI search activity.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on SEO and AI search activity, ensuring work is completed accurately, on time and to a high standard.
- Collaborate closely with the Lead SEO and AI Search Strategist to implement and support the successful delivery of the customer's SEO and AI search strategy.
- Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities that improve organic visibility and align with customer objectives and search intent.
- Support AI search optimisation initiatives by helping monitor, analyse and improve how customers' franchises appear across AI-powered search experiences.
- Use crawling and auditing tools to analyse website performance across multiple franchise websites, identify technical SEO issues and recommend improvements.
- Implement on-page SEO recommendations, including metadata, internal linking, content optimisation and other SEO best practices.
- Analyse and report on SEO and AI search performance using tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console and Data Studio, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal SEO and AI search processes, sharing ideas and feedback to improve efficiency and delivery.
- Attend client status calls, weekly update meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) where required, supporting the presentation of work and performance.
- Proactively identify opportunities to develop customer success stories and case studies.
- Keep up to date with developments in SEO, AI search, search engine algorithms and the automotive retail industry, applying new knowledge to day-to-day delivery.
Skills / Knowledge & Experience
- A minimum of two years' experience in an SEO Executive or similar digital marketing role.
- Working knowledge of all core areas of SEO, including technical SEO, on-page optimisation and off-page SEO.
- An understanding of AI search and generative search technologies, and their impact on search visibility and content optimisation.
- Experience using SEO platforms such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and/or Semrush.
- Knowledge of Google Business Profile optimisation and local SEO best practices, ideally across multi-location or franchise businesses.
- Experience using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console to analyse website performance and identify optimisation opportunities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience using AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or Claude to support research, analysis and content optimisation.
