Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst, Planning to own how planning data moves across e.l.f.’s landscape. e.l.f. is modernizing its planning through a new integrated planning platform built on Lyric, which replaces SAP IBP and extends across the e.l.f., Rhode, and Naturium brands. This person owns the outcome that data flowing between Lyric, Snowflake, and SAP is timely, accurate, and reliable, understands enough of how SAP planning works to confirm it lands correctly, and is the go-to person when something breaks across the platforms.
Responsibilities
- Own the planning data pipeline end to end: understand the demand and supply planning processes, and translate them into how data needs to behave across Lyric, Snowflake, and SAP S/4.
- Partner with the vendor team that builds and supports the Lyric data model and integration, owning the outcome that planning data moves correctly across platforms.
- Understand how the SAP side of planning works well enough to know what SAP expects to receive and what it produces back, and to confirm forecasts and allocations land correctly (planned independent requirements for MRP, order allocation, and the master data behind them). You do not need to be deeply fluent in SAP planning configuration.
- Partner closely with the integration team (CPI, Snowflake connector, file transfers) and the central Snowflake and BI teams to keep inbound and outbound flows reliable, including the weekly forecast loads into S/4.
- Carry light SAP planning functional knowledge so you can support the planning processes hands-on from the SAP side, not just relay requirements.
- Support the multi-brand rollout across e.l.f., Rhode, and Naturium as the platform scales.
- Troubleshoot and resolve planning data issues hands-on, find root cause, and put repeatable fixes in place rather than one-off patches.
- Document the data model, integration touchpoints, and operating procedures so this knowledge stays inside e.l.f. and does not sit with any single vendor.
Requirements
- A solid grounding in planning processes (demand planning, supply planning, or inventory planning), and a genuine interest in how planning data moves between systems.
- Working understanding of SAP planning (demand management, MRP, planned independent requirements, allocations, and the master data behind them) is enough. You should understand what SAP expects from a planning solution and what it gives back.
- Strong data fluency, comfortable reading data models and writing and reading SQL, working with structured data, and reasoning about how data maps from one system to another.
- Exposure to integration concepts (file-based transfers, APIs, middleware such as SAP CPI or similar) and cloud data platforms.
- A learner’s mindset. You are excited to go deep on a new planning platform and become the person who knows it better than anyone.
Good to have
- Experience with cloud data and integration tooling in our stack and exposure to the beauty or broader consumer goods industry is a plus.
- Prior experience with a planning tool (Lyric, o9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or IBP at a working level) is a plus.
