  • Investigate automation failures, perform root-cause analysis, and improve long-term stability
  • Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Security, and Product teams to embed testability into system design
  • Contribute to quality engineering standards and automation best practices across the organization
  • Use AI-assisted tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms to support test development, debugging, root-cause analysis, documentation, and workflow efficiency

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation, quality engineering, or software development in test
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Proven experience designing and building automation frameworks or test systems
  • Hands-on experience with modern automation tools such as Playwright or Pytest
  • Strong experience testing APIs, distributed systems, and security-sensitive workflows
  • Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with containerized or cloud-native environments, including Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
  • Understanding of authentication and identity concepts such as OAuth, SAML, and identity providers
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex system interactions and automation failures
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence quality practices across teams
  • Ability and willingness to use AI-assisted tools effectively to improve test automation, debugging, technical analysis, and documentation
  • Due to this role’s involvement with FedRAMP compliance requirements, qualified candidates must be a U.S. Person
