WHAT YOU'LL DO:
System Administration & Governance
- Maintain system health: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues promptly, and execute patches to ensure optimal functionality.
- Ensure data integrity: Perform regular data audits, manage data migrations, and implement best practices for data hygiene and quality across the organization.
- Manage user access and security: Configure roles, permissions, and access controls to ensure data security and compliance with information security standards.
- Clean up legacy configuration: Proactively identify, deprecate, and refactor technical debt, redundant fields, outdated automation (Workflow Rules/Process Builders), and unused AppExchange packages to streamline, modernize, and simplify our legacy Salesforce org.
Automation & Solution Design
- Partner with leadership on AI initiatives: Collaborate to identify and implement AI-driven opportunities (e.g., Salesforce Einstein, Prompt Builder) that increase operational efficiency and automate routine tasks.
- Drive process automation & partner with the business: Proactively identify opportunities to automate core cross-functional workflows utilizing Salesforce Flow to reduce manual effort. Partner closely with stakeholders across all areas of the business—including Sales, Finance, Customer Support, Implementation, Professional Services, and Customer Success—to align processes and eliminate friction.
- Manage the development lifecycle: Oversee sandbox environments and follow a structured release management process for designing, testing, and deploying all system changes.
- Collaborate on requirements: Partner with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable, best-practice Salesforce solutions.
User Support, Training & Documentation
- Serve as the first line of support: Troubleshoot user-reported issues and resolve system errors for stakeholders across the organization.
- Empower end-users: Develop and deliver training materials and comprehensive system documentation (configuration details, process flows) to ensure users utilize the system effectively.
- Manage change communication: Own the communication of platform changes, new features, and maintenance windows to end-users and stakeholders.
Upgrades & Continuous Improvement
- Manage system upgrades: Lead the effort for seasonal Salesforce releases by assisting with impact analysis, regression testing, and post-deployment validation.
- Drive continuous improvement: Participate in initiatives to explore automation or AI-driven capabilities to keep the system modernized and efficient.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Experience & Education
- 5+ years of direct experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- Deep experience supporting complex revenue and services operations with a solid understanding of Quote-to-Cash processes.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) is required.
- Experience with Certinia (formerly FinancialForce) supporting Professional Services Automation (PSA) and/or ERP workflows is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Salesforce Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Flow, Custom Objects, Record Types, Reports, and Dashboards. Active Salesforce Administrator Certification (Advanced Admin or CPQ Specialist is a major plus).
- Security & Compliance: Demonstrated ability to manage system security, profiles, permission sets, and change control processes.
- Integrations: Strong experience with third-party integrations and AppExchange packages.

- Growth Mindset: A self-starter willing to dig into new concepts, make recommendations with limited information, and adapt to emerging technologies (AI/Automation).
