Senior RCDD Designer

We’re in search of a Senior RCDD Designer, someone who can blend expertise and creativity to elevate our projects. In this role, you’ll navigate complex designs using CAD/BIM software, spearhead the design for data centers and building systems, and oversee smaller projects to ensure our hallmark of excellence and innovation.

You will work directly with some of the world’s largest technology companies and other mission-critical clients. You will serve as a design lead on projects, design calculations, write technical reports, and prepare documents all related to telecom and security design for mission-critical projects. Experience in the Data Center industry is preferred. You will also coordinate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, and clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Master CAD/BIM software to create detailed engineering designs, focusing on efficient data center/building cable routing, equipment layouts, and communication systems.
• Serve as the design authority on projects, driving high-quality outcomes and pioneering solutions.
• Lead smaller projects with meticulous attention to detail, overseeing each phase from inception to completion.
• Represent Olsson’s dedication to excellence and partnership in client meetings.
• Be ready to visit job sites as required, adapting to diverse conditions to guarantee project success.
