About the Role
AlphaSense is looking for a Senior Program Manager, Content Partnerships, to join the Research & Thought Leadership team within Marketing. This role is split across two priorities: managing our broker content partnerships and providing operational and project management support across the broader team.
Reporting to the Editorial Director, this person will play a key role in managing AlphaSense’s broker content initiatives, partnering closely with sell-side research partners to develop compelling co-branded content that showcases market expertise, industry trends, and the value of AlphaSense’s platform. That means chasing down inputs, managing timelines, building relationships with and navigating the priorities of external analysts and their firms. Comfort with financial markets and the sell-side research world is essential. This is not a content-creation role. It's a relationship and execution role for someone who understands what institutional investors and analysts care about and can tell a strong topic from a weak one.
The other aspect of the role supports the Research & Thought Leadership team and wider marketing organization by administering the editorial calendar and project management, maintaining alignment between content and campaigns, and collaborating cross-functionally with events, brand, revenue marketing, and others. This part of the job needs someone organized, sharp, and self-directed, who can take ownership of processes.
Key Responsibilities
Broker Content & Partner Initiatives
- Drive AlphaSense’s broker content marketing initiatives, creating opportunities for co-branded articles, webinars, event content, thought leadership campaigns, and related marketing assets.
- Partner with sell-side broker research teams to identify timely topics, shape content angles, coordinate inputs, and bring co-branded content to market, using market fluency to evaluate what's worth pursuing.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between AlphaSense’s marketing team and broker partners, ensuring smooth communication, clear expectations, and timely execution.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders (editorial, campaigns, product marketing, revenue marketing, and more) to keep broker-led content aligned with broader priorities.
- Develop content briefs, promotional copy, webinar descriptions, event abstracts, and related materials for broker content programs.
Project Management & Team Operations
- Own and maintain the Research & Thought Leadership editorial calendar, ensuring visibility across planned reports, articles, webinars, events, newsletters, and campaign assets.
- Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders across the company to gather inputs, align on priorities, and ensure research content supports broader business goals.
- Track and organize performance metrics across broker content and editorial initiatives, surfacing trends and insights to inform future planning.
- Maintain team process documentation, including intake processes and workflow guides.
- Provide general project management support across the team's priorities, stepping in wherever coordination is needed.
- Apply a sharp eye in occasionally proofreading marketing assets; this is not a dedicated writer or editor role and deep experience is not required.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in program or project management, partner marketing, or content operations, ideally within financial services, capital markets, or B2B marketing
- Experience working in or adjacent to financial services or capital markets, with enough market fluency to evaluate ideas and communicate credibly with analysts and researchers
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience managing external partners who have their own priorities and deadlines
- Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong editorial judgment and written/verbal communication skills
- Experience managing project calendars, content workflows, or cross-functional marketing programs
- Ability to work confidently with senior internal and external stakeholders, including partners, subject matter experts, marketers, and executives
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with webinars, events, co-branded content, newsletters, reports, and digital content programs
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, finance, economics, business, or a related field preferred
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has spent time in or around financial services and understands how analysts think and what an institutional audience cares about. They are confident about working with senior stakeholders and comfortable discussing sophisticated business and financial topics. They are skilled at managing partner relationships and able to keep complex content initiatives moving across multiple teams. They are highly organized, collaborative, and reliable.
