About Splice: Splice is the premier creative platform for people who make music, trusted by serious producers, chart-topping artists, students, and DIY creators worldwide to bring their musical concepts to life. A subscription to Splice provides digital music creators with an industry-leading catalog of sounds, samples, and loops alongside an expanding generative AI stack. With a unique rent-to-own marketplace for powerful DAWs and plugins, our platform integrates flawlessly into any digital audio workstation workflow. Backed by an unparalleled team of elite sound designers, we are building a collaborative, remote-first ecosystem to fuel global sonic innovation.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly autonomous, growth-oriented, and high-agency Senior Product Manager to lead the business strategy, development, and scaling of the Kits AI product line under a permanent, full-time remote model open across the United States. Kits is Splice’s premier generative AI vocal creation suite, allowing producers to generate, transform, and deploy studio-quality vocal tracks cleanly within their workflows. Shifting completely away from detached project tracking, routine audio editing, or rigid top-down product management, you will step up to claim dual accountability across core product growth funnels and advanced machine learning implementation. This position requires a product authority with 2 to 5 years of consumer-facing experience who translates machine learning concepts into intuitive interfaces natively using AI & Machine Learning product strategies, evaluates activation and pricing metrics using event-tracking platforms, and leverages advanced AI tools to accelerate product discovery, internal tooling, and feature shipment speeds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Core AI Product Strategy & Growth: Drive product growth and performance parameters for Kits AI across funnel optimization, activation, retention, pricing, and monetization frameworks natively utilizing AI & Machine Learning product paradigms.
  • ML Productization: Translate cutting-edge machine learning research capabilities into high-value, creator-facing products and software workflows, partnering directly with specialized R&D and engineering cohorts.
  • Data-Driven Prioritization: Monitor complex performance data inside our analytics ecosystem, owning continuous product experimentation and utilizing event metrics to make sharp, logical prioritization calls.
  • Automated Insights & Customer Research: Establish automated customer insight pipelines and lead deep user interviews to build a nuanced understanding of music producer behaviors and needs.
  • AI-Accelerated Execution: Leverage modern AI tools to drastically fast-track your product management lifecycle—ranging from deploying features to production with AI coding utilities to constructing automated internal discovery frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2–5 years of professional experience in product management operating inside a fast-moving, consumer- or creator-facing platform, ideally within an autonomous startup environment.
  • Demonstrated history of driving revenue growth, conversion funnel enhancements, or business performance metrics through product ownership.
  • Data & Analytics Fluency: A metrics-informed mindset with proven fluency navigating funnel analyses, cohort conversions, and event-tracking architectures like Amplitude.
  • Practical exposure working directly on AI- or ML-powered software lines, or working in close technical alignment alongside machine learning engineering teams.
  • Exceptional agency, strong product judgment, and a verified capacity to drive an ambiguous market opportunity into a shipped product independently.
  • Location Context: Position operates under remote geographic guidelines open to qualified product professionals residing permanently within the USA.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Professional experience building creator tools, music software, or digital products within the broader audio and creative industries.
  • Familiarity with pricing optimization experiments, growth hacking techniques, and lifecycle customer engagement strategies.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows for automated product spec writing, synthesis of user research, or internal developer tooling.

What We Offer

  • Competitive National Compensation Structure: A competitive annual base salary range of $148,320 – $185,400 USD, calibrated directly with experience, alongside annual performance reviews and equity opportunities.
  • 100% remote workspace freedom with the option to access premium creative space hubs worldwide.
  • Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO): Generous unlimited vacation policies to ensure you recharge and maintain a healthy creative baseline.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage plans extended fully to you and your legal dependents.
  • Retirement savings security through a 401(k) plan featuring immediate vesting and an attractive corporate match.
  • Robust parental leave structures offering 12 weeks of fully paid leave for non-birthing parents and 18–20 weeks for birthing parents.
  • Dedicated annual learning budget, specialized leadership acceleration programs, and internal community connection events.
