About the company
Our client operates a high-growth talent marketplace and vetting platform that connects ambitious startups with the top 1% of global software engineering talent. Since 2015, they have specialized in bridging the gap between innovative companies in the US and Europe and a curated community of senior developers across LatAm and the US. By utilizing a rigorous, human-centered vetting process for soft skills and technical proficiency, the team ensures that partners can scale their engineering capacity rapidly with flexible, month-to-month engagements.
The company fosters a remote-first, high-performance culture focused on transparency and technical excellence. They support startups at every stage, from launching MVPs to stabilizing legacy infrastructure. Candidates joining this ecosystem will work alongside a diverse community of experts in AI, blockchain, and full-stack development. The team is dedicated to eliminating the friction of traditional hiring, providing a streamlined environment where engineering impact and professional growth are prioritized.
This company is a profitable, growing talent marketplace that has spent the last decade connecting top-tier engineers with high-growth businesses. Currently processing over $16M in annual GMV, the team is transitioning from a service-driven model to a technology-first platform. This is not a "maintenance" role; you won't be tuning an existing engineโyou will be helping build a new one. As a Senior Product Manager, you will own critical product areas, automate workflows using AI agents, and solve the complex bottlenecks that stand in the way of the next stage of global scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product lifecycle from initial conception to final delivery, defining what success looks like before a single line of code is written.
- Drive deep discovery through user interviews, competitive research, data analysis, and hypothesis validation.
- Directly contribute to business growth by building billing systems, enhancing customer experience, and developing internal operations tooling.
- Work hands-on with AI agents to automate product workflows and improve platform efficiency.
- Prioritize ruthlessly by making high-stakes decisions on what to build, what to skip, and what to kill.
- Provide high-level context to engineers to empower independent decision-making without over-speccing or hand-holding.
- Lead agile rituals including grooming, planning, design reviews, demos, and the publication of release notes.
- Partner closely with Product Design and Engineering to ship at a high velocity and iterate based on real-world feedback.
- Take full accountability for the business metrics (revenue, retention, conversion) impacted by your product area.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager within a product-led company (experience in outsource/outstaff environments will not be considered).
- A proven track record of making product decisions that moved the needle on core business metrics (activation, retention, or revenue).
- Extensive experience working within distributed, remote-first engineering teams.
- Professional-level English proficiency with the ability to influence international stakeholders.
- A startup-ready mindset characterized by extreme ownership, transparency, and comfort with ambiguity.
- The ability to thrive in a horizontal growth environment where impact matters more than titles.
