Senior Product Engineer II

What you’ll be doing in the role

• Define Technical Direction: Partner with the Engineering Manager to shape the team’s technical roadmap, strategy, and architectural direction.
• Drive Engineering Excellence: Own code quality, testing, reliability, performance, and engineering standards across the team.
• Lead Technical Discovery: Guide technical planning, discovery, solution design, and decision-making, balancing short- and long-term needs.
• Collaborate and Influence: Facilitate cross-team technical collaboration, contribute to engineering-wide initiatives, and act as a technical liaison.
• Grow the Team: Actively mentor and develop engineers at any level, within and beyond the team.

What you’ll bring to this role

• Technical Leadership: Proven experience leading technical direction, making architectural decisions, and solving complex engineering problems.
• Engineering Expertise: Deep expertise in software engineering, architecture, testing, reliability, performance, and maintainable system design.
• Product Mindset: Ability to connect technical decisions to customer and business outcomes while balancing delivery with long-term technical health.
• Influence and Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to build consensus, influence across teams, and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentoring and Collaboration: A strong track record of developing engineers, working effectively with Engineering Managers and wider engineering communities, and contributing to a culture of learning and excellence.
