  • Translate business goals, operating needs, and technical constraints into clear architecture and delivery recommendations.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in plain language appropriate for both executive and technical audiences.
  • Establish engagement expectations, decision processes, working agreements, and communication cadence.
  • Manage client concerns, difficult conversations, competing priorities, and changing requirements with professionalism.
  • Provide clear recommendations, identify tradeoffs, and help clients make informed decisions.
  • Identify follow-on opportunities where additional advisory, data, analytics, automation, or AI services could create client value.

Engagement Management

  • Lead assigned client engagements with accountability for scope, schedule, budget awareness, quality, risks, and outcomes.
  • Coordinate delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and responsibilities across Anders and client teams.
  • Monitor engagement progress and proactively communicate status, decisions, risks, issues, and required client actions.
  • Partner with project managers and practice leaders on estimates, staffing, utilization, and delivery planning.
  • Contribute to proposals, statements of work, assumptions, scope definitions, and change requests.
  • Ensure deliverables are complete, understandable, and aligned with client expectations before presentation or release.
  • Support adoption, knowledge transfer, and transition planning so clients can operate and extend delivered solutions.

Team and Delivery Leadership

  • Lead and coordinate Data Engineers, Power BI Developers, consultants, and other specialists assigned to an engagement.
  • Provide clear direction, delegate effectively, and maintain accountability for team commitments and delivery quality.
  • Facilitate team working sessions, architecture reviews, design decisions, and code reviews.
  • Coach team members on consulting behaviors, client communication, technical standards, and delivery practices.
  • Resolve delivery blockers and escalate issues early when client outcomes, scope, or quality are at risk.
  • Create a collaborative environment across Anders, client, and third-party teams.

Architecture and Solution Design

  • Lead the architecture and design of end-to-end Microsoft Fabric solutions.
  • Define enterprise data platform strategy centered on OneLake.
  • Design Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Engineering, semantic modeling, and Power BI architectures.

  • Define Direct Lake, data integration, orchestration, and reusable engineering patterns.
  • Create architecture diagrams, data flow maps, decision records, technical standards, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, supportable, and aligned with client business goals.

Platform Governance and Operations

  • Establish security architecture, including workspace design, role-based access control, row-level security, and data access standards.
  • Define Microsoft Fabric governance, data ownership, development, deployment, and support frameworks.
  • Lead capacity planning, performance management, and workload optimization.
  • Implement monitoring, observability, data quality, lineage, and operational practices.

  • Strong understanding of cloud data and analytics technologies, preferably within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
  • Experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft AI Foundry, or Azure AI Services is preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and coordinate work across business, technical, and project stakeholders.
