Pulmovant is a Roivant-backed clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on transforming patient lives with pulmonary diseases. Its first investigational candidate, mosliciguat, targets pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD) via a novel, once-daily inhaled treatment.

The company recently announced positive results from its Phase 2 PHocus study, achieving the highest-ever reported pulmonary vascular resistance (PVR) reduction in a randomized controlled PH trial. These findings position mosliciguat as a potential single-agent treatment and combination therapy for PH-ILD, addressing significant unmet medical needs.

As part of the Roivant family, Pulmovant leverages collaboration and innovation to accelerate progress.

The Role

The Senior Manager, IT Applications oversees Pulmovant’s enterprise application portfolio, ensuring the day-to-day performance, compliance, and lifecycle management of both GxP/clinical systems (e.g., Veeva Vault, DocuBridge) and core enterprise IT applications (ITSM, SharePoint). This role requires a hands-on systems leader who balances compliance-critical platforms with general enterprise tools while fostering collaboration, adaptability, and efficiency in a fast-moving, regulated biotech environment.

Key Responsibilities

System Management & Operations

  • Maintain the enterprise application portfolio, including validated GxP/clinical systems (Veeva Vault—QualityDocs, VaultTraining, QMS, RIM, eTMF, CDMS) and general enterprise IT applications (ITSM platform, M365/collaboration tools).
  • Serve as the primary owner for system uptime, performance, configuration, and issue resolution.
  • Lead system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and decommissions, coordinating computer system validation (CSV) activities with Quality as required.
  • Maintain application governance: change control, access management, data integrity, and system documentation (SOPs, validation protocols, configuration records).

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner with Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Finance, and HR teams to gather requirements, prioritize the applications roadmap, and translate business needs into system solutions.
  • Act as a trusted liaison between IT and the business, ensuring stakeholders remain informed and engaged through system changes.
  • Collaborate with Roivant IT to align shared platforms, standards, and enterprise-wide initiatives.

Team & Vendor Management

  • Manage and mentor a team of application analysts/administrators, setting priorities and supporting their development.
  • Manage vendor relationships during implementation and maintenance, holding vendors accountable to performance and compliance commitments.

Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor system performance and incident trends, driving root-cause analysis and process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, retire redundant tools, and improve system efficiency across the portfolio.
  • Perform IT project management responsibilities as needed, including planning, tracking, and delivery of applications initiatives.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • 8+ years of IT applications experience, including 2+ years in a management or team-lead capacity.

Essential Skills & Abilities

  • Hands-on experience administering GxP/validated systems (e.g., Veeva Vault, BOX) in a pharma, biotech, or regulated life sciences environment.
  • Experience managing general enterprise IT applications (ITSM, M365/collaboration platforms).
  • Working knowledge of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and computer system validation (CSV) practices.
  • Demonstrated experience managing vendors, budgets, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience managing AI or machine learning initiatives, including model validation and responsible AI/data governance principles; proficiency using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) to support project work.
  • Cross-functional collaborator—builds trusted relationships across Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and HR to communicate system changes clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptable—comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving, and regulated environment; adjusts quickly as priorities and systems change.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented—brings rigor to data integrity, documentation, and troubleshooting; catches issues before they become problems.
  • Efficiency-minded—seeks ways to simplify processes and maximize value from the applications portfolio with lean resources.
