Driven by a high-performance, engineer-friendly corporate philosophy centered around honesty, reliability, curiosity, collaboration, and raw execution passion, the firm equips technical leaders with an uncompromised remote canvas to leverage state-of-the-art diagnostic nodes, manipulate high-concurrency payment and ledger rails, and deploy robust full-stack applications globally.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-obsessed, and systems-minded Senior Mainframe Developer to join our core centralized Infrastructure Operations collective under a full-time remote capacity open to qualified technical authorities resident anywhere across the United States. In this highly critical production-support seat, you will step up to claim true individual operational and strategic accountability over the development, tuning, and maintenance of our multi-tenant enterprise mainframe applications, ensuring uninterrupted uptime for critical consumer data paths. Shifting completely away from routine script editing, minor database logging, basic administrative form typing, or simple local spreadsheet copying, you will run an active data transaction, performance tuning, and cross-platform service integration laboratory—simultaneously resolving complex Incidents, Service Requests, and Change Request blocks. This position requires a mainframe or banking tech veteran who designs low-latency terminal logic fluidly natively using Backend computing elements, debugs high-volume operational systems cleanly natively leveraging Backend query structures across COBOL, CICS, and DB2 setups, and commands enterprise ticketing architectures confidently under fast-paced Agile and Waterfall parameters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mainframe Application Architecture & Maintenance: Personally design, develop, code, and audit multi-tenant enterprise mainframe tools, maximizing processing reliability cleanly natively utilizing Backend software patterns across COBOL, JCL, and CICS environments.
  • High-Volume Query and Database Optimization: Oversee relational and hierarchical database performance across production networks, tuning complex query blocks inside DB2, IMS DB/DC, and VSAM environments cleanly natively leveraging Backend data tools.
  • Enterprise-Wide Request Triage: Handle and mitigate Incidents, Service Requests, and Change Request blocks concurrently within centralized corporate ticketing engines like ServiceNow or Service Manager.
  • Pioneering Netron Frame Implementation: Refactor and manage code templates, abstract system functions, and object libraries confidently natively utilizing Netron Frame software technology.
  • Asynchronous Integration Troubleshooting: Conduct deep forensic investigations and root-cause analyses across legacy middleware layers, debugging high-concurrency transaction drops using IBM MQ messaging channels.
  • Technical Documentation Generation: Author, organize, and safe-keep scannable internal technical knowledge bases, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and operational runbooks to guide cross-functional client-facing support squads.
  • Functional Requirement Interpretation: Deconstruct ambiguous business goals and functional design specifications into technical implementation models, providing optimized change configurations for enterprise stakeholders.
  • Version Control and SDLC Governance: Manage production code transfers through automated deployment pathways, maintaining strict data security compliance across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or an identical technical field of study.
  • Extensive, verified professional history running advanced mainframe application development, legacy software engineering, multi-tenant database management, or enterprise technology consulting.
  • Expert-tier capability coding terminal interfaces, managing high-throughput batch files, and tuning database schemas natively utilizing Backend developer tools (requiring mastery of COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2).
  • Practical operational familiarity parsing system traces, configuring message brokers, and managing file definitions natively using Backend components (specifically showing hands-on depth across IMS DC/DB, IBM MQ, VSAM, and Netron Frame Technology).
  • Demonstrated experience navigating high-security enterprise ticketing systems (such as ServiceNow or Service Manager) under a hybrid mix of Agile and Waterfall deployment frameworks.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and scannable technical-documentation communication attributes in business-fluent English, enabling uncompromised confidence when presenting implementation options directly before corporate client boards.
  • Location Context: Position open to qualified mainframe engineering authorities based permanently and resident within the borders of the United States to operate under a 100% remote work-from-home layout.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior technical deployment history operating explicitly within multi-tenant financial technology environments, large-scale insurance transaction systems, or global high-security infrastructure grids.
  • Direct hands-on experience handling legacy-to-cloud data migration models or connecting mainframe applications to modern REST/SOAP API channels.

What We Offer

  • Vetted Managed Services Sector Salaried Blueprint: A competitive full-time baseline annual corporate base salary package structured transparently between $102,000 and $148,000 USD, calibrated precisely to evaluate your technical craftsmanship and mainframe depth, supplemented by annual corporate performance bonuses and equity grants under our Associate Equity Appreciation Program.
  • The spectacular professional canvas to claim absolute technical code authorship over the core backend mainframe modules power-routing operations for global enterprises.
  • Profound work-from-home remote parameters offering a 100% remote virtual home office environment, complete task-execution trust, and zero physical corporate office commuting friction out of any state in America.
  • 100% Comprehensive Lifestyle Support: Immediate entry into a highly progressive time-off model including completely Unlimited Paid Days Off, a flexible work schedule, and sabbatical leave tracks.
  • Elite health and financial protection layers, featuring three advanced medical plan options, matching corporate 401(k) retirement systems, and an inclusive Family Forming Benefit (inclusive of fertility coverage, adoption, or surrogacy reimbursements).
