Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, systems-minded Senior Laravel Developer to join our core centralized Customer Solutions and Engineering collective in a full-time remote capacity, available across multiple target regions including India, Algeria, Pakistan, Turkey, Tunisia, and Georgia (Job ID: SNRL007). Stepping into this high-influence technical seat, you will claim individual strategic accountability for managing, defining, and optimizing our comprehensive backend systems, cloud databases, and core application components. Shifting completely away from minor code modifications or basic website configuration loops, you will act as a principal architect enforcing clean code design principles and SOLID patterns across our entire logistics environment. This position requires an enterprise engineering veteran with 5+ years of heavy Laravel history and 6–7+ years of dedicated API development background who models complex relational schemas fluidly, optimizes high-volume data queues smoothly, and speaks English fluently to present abstract technical choices to non-technical stakeholders confidently.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean Architecture and Backend Governance Ownership: Formulate, document, and execute the core architectural blueprints for Zippd’s high-performance server layers, maintaining system resiliency using Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and the Repository pattern natively utilizing Backend programming tools.
• High-Throughput Production API Engineering: Design, build, secure, and maintain complex production-grade REST APIs, JSON data feeds, and real-time streaming interfaces from scratch, prioritizing data consistency across external networks.
• Relational Database Performance Tuning: Manage, monitor, and optimize relational database models, writing advanced SQL indexing adjustments, partition queries, and Eloquent ORM configurations to remediate latency bottlenecks under heavy transactional traffic.
• Test-Driven Infrastructure Verification: Establish and execute rigorous, test-driven code validation structures natively leveraging QA Engineer Test-Driven Development (TDD) automated frameworks explicitly using PHPUnit and Pest.
• Asynchronous Queue and Caching Curation: Scale and maintain internal messaging pipelines, background jobs, and system caching grids utilizing high-capacity Redis and RabbitMQ database queue systems.
• Cross-System Third-Party Integration: Build and govern robust webhooks, secure authentication protocols, and error-handling routines to manage data exchanges seamlessly with external logistics vendor networks.
• Dynamic Client-Side Binding Integration: Collaborate peer-to-peer with user experience cells to bridge the gap between backend server routes and front-end render engines, managing bindings using Inertia.js or Livewire.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of verified professional history running advanced backend software engineering, object-oriented systems development, server-side data architecture design, or cloud automation consulting.
• Deep, authoritative technical command of PHP core mechanics, modern web frameworks, model-view-controller (MVC) structures, query profiling, security encryption standards, and asynchronous task management.
• Expert-tier capability writing production-grade microservices and building scalable, decoupled server logic matrices natively utilizing Backend environments (specifically covering Laravel).
• Practical operational experience building unit test loops, tracking edge-case boundaries, and validating runtime configurations natively using QA Engineer automation tooling (explicitly PHPUnit or Pest architectures).
• 6 to 7+ years of hands-on history explicitly focused on designing, scaling, securing, and maintaining public or internal web APIs in high-traffic production environments.
