Core Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruitment for experienced-hire searches across Product, Operations, Finance & Accounting, Legal & Compliance and customer-facing teams — sourcing, assessment, offer, close

  • Partner with hiring managers as an advisor: scope and calibrate roles, set the assessment approach, and push back with evidence when the brief and the market don't match. Understand feedback, iterate on the role requirements, and evolve your sourcing and hiring strategy as needed.

  • Hire genuinely global talent across EMEA, LATAM and North America — adapting strategy and process to each market rather than exporting one playbook everywhere

  • Build pipelines that don't rely on inbound: market mapping, direct outreach, community and referral routes, talent pooling for repeat needs

  • Own candidate experience end to end: clear communication, honest feedback, a process people speak well of whether or not they get the job. Educate and engage candidates about the company's mission and journey in a compelling way

  • Run your own recruiting operations in Ashby without sourcing or coordinator support, and keep the data clean enough to be worth reporting on

  • Use AI and automation to change how the work gets done: sourcing and research, outreach, interview intelligence, ATS agents and workflows, reporting. Then share it, so the whole team gets the benefit

Minimum Requirements

  • Significant experience recruiting experienced and senior hires either as an in-house or embedded senior recruiter

  • Depth in G&A hiring, specifically Operations (our biggest need), Finance and Legal & Compliance - BIG PLUS if you have experience hiring senior Product roles too.

  • Multi-region recruiting experience, with real understanding of how markets differ, including comp norms, notice periods, candidate expectations across EMEA and the Americas

  • Full recruiting cycle autonomy. You've owned searches end to end, without a sourcer or coordinator by your side. Excellent organization and time management across multiple time zones and searches is a must

  • Hands-on ATS ownership. You've run your own pipeline management, reporting and data hygiene in Ashby — or an equivalent ATS — and you use what's in it to spot a stalling search before your hiring manager does.

  • Senior stakeholder credibility. You can advise, challenge and influence directors and VPs, and hold your position when it matters

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and talent-partnering capability with senior leaders

  • Real, current use of AI or automation in your own workflow. Credible examples of using AI or automation to improve recruiting workflows or productivity is essential.

  • A high bar on candidate experience, and the judgment to hold quality when everyone wants speed.

  • Demonstrated accountability in a remote-first environment.

  • Excellent written and async communication. Most of our work happens asynchronously across time zones. Clear, concise communication is a must.

Your application will really stand out if you also bring:

  • Experience building Ashby agents

  • Global Product hiring experience

  • APAC market experience

  • Sourcing approaches that go beyond inbound and referrals — communities, mapping, unconventional channels

  • Experience transitioning from agency or RPO to in-house recruiter

Full transparency:

  • This is a 12-month fixed-term contract. There's no guarantee of extension, but what we can offer is a serious, senior remit with real ownership from week one

  • There's no recruitment coordinator. You'll run your own scheduling and process via Ashby automations.

  • We're mid-transformation. Some things are being rebuilt while we hire. If you need a settled environment and a finished playbook, this will frustrate you

  • Our hiring is genuinely global, which means early calls and late calls some weeks, and a lot of context-switching

This might not be right for you if:

  • You prefer a narrowly scoped recruiting remit rather than full-cycle ownership

  • You are uncomfortable challenging or advising senior stakeholders directly

  • You have limited exposure to global recruiting and time-zone-heavy collaboration

  • You are less comfortable operating with pace, ambiguity, and evolving business needs

  • Improving systems, processes, and ways of working alongside day-to-day delivery feels like a distraction from the work

You'll also need

A reliable home internet connection, and fluency in written and spoken English.
