At Vanta, our mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust. We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously, and we empower companies to practice better security and prove it with ease. Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it.
As a Senior Events Specialist on Vanta’s Strategic Events team, you’ll help execute high-visibility Tier 1 conference sponsorships and flagship programs, reducing execution risk and creating leverage for the broader team.
The Strategic Events team creates high-impact experiences that connect Vanta with customers, prospects, partners, and the broader cybersecurity community. The team manages both Vanta-owned flagship programs and major third-party conference sponsorships, partnering across the organization to deliver strong experiences and support business goals.
You’ll support a range of strategic events, including Tier 1 conference sponsorships and flagship programs. You’ll work across multiple overlapping timelines, coordinate with internal and external partners, and flag risks early so the team can triage them effectively.
What you’ll do as a Senior Events Specialist at Vanta:
- Support planning and execution for Vanta’s presence at RSAC, Black Hat, Fal.Con, and AWS re:Invent, including sponsorship logistics, exhibit planning, booth design coordination, and on-site execution. You’ll ramp into the portfolio by shadowing AWS re:Invent, taking on planning responsibilities for RSAC, and supporting the strategy and execution of Black Hat.
- Coordinate sponsor deliverables such as speaking submissions, digital placements, lead retrieval, co-marketing, and event activations.
- Maintain detailed planning calendars, project trackers, and status updates across multiple events and overlapping workstreams.
- Identify dependencies and flag execution risks early so the team can triage issues and keep programs on track.
- Partner with Design, PMM, Project Management, Revenue, and Field Marketing to coordinate conference activations and support pre- and post-event follow-up.
- Work with agencies, conference organizers, vendors, and internal partners to coordinate deliverables and resolve logistics issues.
- Collect event performance data, including booth traffic, meetings sourced, and pipeline contribution, and support reporting on sponsorship ROI.
- Provide support on flagship programs such as Vantacon, VantaCon UK, and Trust Tours during high-volume production periods.
How to be successful in this role:
- 4+ years of experience in B2B field marketing, event marketing, or conference production, with hands-on experience supporting large-scale third-party conferences and in-house flagship events.
- Experience working within third-party event infrastructure, including conference organizers, agencies, vendors, sponsorship deliverables, and exhibit logistics.
- Cybersecurity or cloud conference experience, especially with events such as RSAC, Black Hat, Fal.Con, or AWS re:Invent, is strongly preferred.
- Highly organized and execution-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to jump in where needed across different event programs.
- Strong judgment and follow-through, including the ability to identify and flag risks early.
- Comfortable working with Revenue and Field Marketing teams and familiar with how events support pipeline goals.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25–30% of the time, including domestic and international travel.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.
- Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
What you can expect as a Vanta’n:
- Industry-competitive salary and equity
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, with 100% of employee-only benefit premiums covered for most medical plans
- 16 weeks paid Parental Leave for all new parents
- Health & wellness stipend
- Remote workspace, internet, and cellphone stipend
- Commuter benefits for team members who report to the SF and NYC office
- Family planning benefits
- Matching 401(k) contribution with immediate vesting
- Flexible PTO policy, plus 80 hours of Sick Time
- 11 company-paid holidays
- Virtual team building activities, lunch and learns, and other company-wide events!
- Offices in SF, NYC, London, Dublin, Tel Aviv, and Sydney

Vanta
View Company ProfileVanta is the leading trust management platform that simplifies and automates security compliance for growing companies. Traditionally, getting certifications like SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA took months of manual work, screenshots, and expensive consultants. Vanta changed the game by connecting directly to a company's tools (like AWS, GitHub, Slack, and Gusto) to automatically monitor security controls in real-time. Instead of just checking a box once a year, Vanta proves that a company is secure 24/7, helping businesses close deals faster by instantly building trust with their customers.
